Those look like GSL SE housing..
O-rings on the housing or the side plates?
Did they weld up the O-ring tracks on the housings or sideplates

Japan2LA you are right gsl-se housings with the turbo plates groves filled. Its been almost 1.5 years since i bought them.

Motor has been street ported, clearanced and pinned rotor bearings,86 na rotors also side clearanced, new rotor housings, lapped side plates, 3mm carbon apex seals, rx8 stat gears, alot of oil passage work, reduction pulleys, lightweight flywheel and centerforce DF clutch.

all i got left is modify my intake to fit and button up a few other small details and Ill be ready to fire it up.

Nice work..

I Recently ran into a pair of NOS GSL SE Racing beat P-port housings.... was going to use Cosmo Re sideplate, TIG weld all the O-ring grooves closed and then lap them flat....

Sold those housings off before I got around to it..

Next time...

Your motor looks GREAT!

REAL Frakenstein!!!! I love it.. looks like parts from all most every generation RX7 except FD

Nice Frankenstein engine you got there. S4 front and rear plates? Y intermediate? Rotor housings are either US-spec '76-'78 or J-spec from a points ignition and thermal reactor engine, but I can't tell until I seee the exhaust sleeves.

Too bad they plugged the stock coolant temp sender hole. Otherwise nice. I even like the color.
