Thanks for the complements. Something about new shiny parts are like crack to me. I can't stop spending money on it though. My biggest problem is the "it's going to need it eventually" syndrome. Like i tell my friends "i am building a 7s car to run mid 9s lol". But my wife finally stepped in and said it is time to finish it! So before fall is over i should have some time slips and before spring she should have a fresh coat of paint and be tearing up the streets.
The intake is painted with wrinkle paint, i love that freaking stuff. It takes a super long time to fully cure (over a month) but when it does it is indestructible. Not even fuel will harm it. The fuel rail has a coating on it called Alodine. It is a corrosion inhibitor that is applied in a four stage process. The reason i coated it is to lessen the chances of the methanol attacking it.

I love your car!!!!!!!!! that is so fing tight? are you going to get it back doored registered because some tstates its illegal to modify your car at all lol. i wonder if they would notice??? ahhahahahahhahaaahhahahahhahah looks like a stock rx-3 to me hahahahhaha
Nice car. Man you sure like to make changes. hehe. Have you ran the car down the track yet? It seems like you're making many turbo, manifold, and exhaust changes before even running it down the track. Just wondering why you're making all these changes before getting it to run straight down the track? Also, can you give some info on the engine. What year and mods you have done to it if any? Thanks and again, awesome job man!

This is the way most ,if not all, old schools and there engines mounted from the factory.
13B-RX3: Correct me if I'm wrong.
^ Oh my bad. I thought that since all you had to do to swap them into FB's is change the front plate that they mounted only in the front. I guess that would be why you change the front plate, eh?

Thanks guys. This is the last setup that is going to be in the car for a while (until i go methanol next winter).
It is a first gen cover and i also have the engine mid mounted off the scatter shield for extra support. If everything works OK i will have the car tuned shortly after the first of the year. I am shooting for somewhere in the 550-600 HP range on C16. I already have another motor that i am starting to build. It should handle......slightly more HP.
As for the cost, i will tell you the same thing i tell my wife. " it doesn't matter how much it costs as long as i am having fun".
