Junk it, I'll pick it up for free.

Outstanding job there. I wish I had that kinda of time and money to put into my rx-2. Keep up the good work and keep us posted when you get it running.

That is a watter to air intercooler. And the thing in front of the rad is a heat exchanger. Instead of air blowing across the intercooler to remove the heat from the compressed air it uses watter that is circulated trough the intercooler to remove the heat. Then the watter is pumped to the front of the car and the heat exchanger removes the heat like a rad. The watter to air vs air to air is about 13 times more eficent. Imagine haveing a red hot peice of metal and blowing air across it to cool it off. Now take that same peice of metal and dump 2 gal of watter on it. The only problem is that the watter will slowly heat up over a period of time. So this system is only good for short bursts.

It wasnt that hard to mount the rad,oil cooler, and heat exchanger. Went to tractor supply racing and bough some small square tubeing and made a framework for everything. It is a very tight fit.

This will be a street car that I will drad race every once and a while. The motor is stock, so on this build I am shooting for around 450 hp witch should put this 1800 pound car in the mid 9s. Next winter I plan on going trough the motor and dowling, porting, and mabe a larger turbo. Then the hp goal will be 500-550.

A tubbed street car with a lenco? Jerico? My kinda street car. I like it. Very cool. In an earlier post you said we should look closely at the rear fenderwells. I looked and looked but I'm not sure what Im supposed to be seeing.

I will probably never ride in the passenger seat. And no the floor will not cover the intercooler. Why hide it? What I was seeing was if anyone noticed that I streched the wheel wells 3 inches. I am happy that nobody noticed, that means that I did a good job. Thanks for all the positive feedback it makes me feel alot better about spending that much time/money knowing that people really like it.

Hopefully I will get the car tuned by the end of next month. It runs now by I still have a few details and parts to sort out. It should be a handful to drive.

Bad *** creation! Hats off. Can't wait to see some vids of it.

Did you buy that car from California? I had a buddy with a blue one like that and it went to TX when he sold it.
