Alright guys, finally back from Florida. I had a wonderful time and i met some of the most interesting people.

I told Gaby what i had planed on doing with the car, that i wanted the motor to last but still make enough power to scare the **** out of me. He decided to go with what he considered a VERY conservative tune. On pump gas at 12 PSI it put down 329 HP, on C16 at 22 PSI it made 444.7 HP. He told me at these power levels the motor should last for a long time (long enough to build the next one). I have a little video of some of the pulls i will post up later.

very cool . grats on the numbers. that may not seem like alot to some people (V8 guys) but in a 2200 lb. car 440 hp is a low low 10. factor in the stock motor and you get a big pat on the back. now get that bitch to the track for some suspension dialing

Got a chance to talk with Gaby a little bit after the tune. He said that this was a very conservative tune and if i wanted to take a chance and lean the a/f and bump up the timing he could make much more power but he did not recommend it. I figure it would be better to have a 445 HP car that ran 10s than it would be to have a 550 HP car that didn't run at all.

All and all it one of the most interesting things i have ever done. I met a lot of new and VERY interesting people and saw things that you could not imagine!!! Everyone was very nice and i will definitely be going back in the future. Hell, we had the car on the dyno and a TV crew showed up. They started filming the tune and interviewing everyone in the shop. They even interviewed my goofy ***. They said that it was going to be on a TV show on Telemundo!!!

Very nice. Grats dude. Have you driven it yet? Is 12psi the most he felt comfortable with on pump gas? Did he give you any tips on what you should do to the motor? What rpm did the turbo make full boost on the dyno?

Thanks. I only pulled it off the trailer and did a 2nd gear burnout into the shop. We had a problem on the first day and could not raise the boost beyond 12 PSI so thats where he tuned it, he gave me a few pointers and said when i got the controller working i could bump it up to 15 PSI no problem. As for the motor, porting and doweling as normal. And for what RPM the turbo made full boost.... well i can't let out all my secrets.

Well it's great to be back home, that was a great trip! Lots of driving, but more than worth it. Big thanks to Gabby, Robert, the whole crew, and all the interesting people that stopped by 2 Fast Autosports. Thanks for being so accommodating and making us white boys from Texas feel right at home!

The difference in tune now versus when it arrived is amazing. It's so much smoother and revs much quicker. I don't know if the audio of the vid will do it justice. At full power it is down right deafening and vicious sounding....awsome, glad I was able to be there.

Next trip will be to the track. Dyno numbers are just numbers, lets see what she'll do!!

Very nice! That gilmer belt makes it sound like you have a supercharger. That and the turbo makes it sound like a beast. Great job

Love how it jumps when you have to bang it into the next gear. So how much dyno time in case I missed it?
