I'm still not 100% sure if I want to go the 13B bridge turbo route like I originally planned or my new idea of a 12A street-port (much much cheaper, easier in a number of ways, usable power without breaking rear ends, way more vintage for the period correct theme). Then if I really want more power I could just turbo the 12A which would still be unique since you just don't see them very often.
When I heard your setup it definitely got me thinking that I'd be pretty satisfied with a good 12A while I'm busy restoring all the little details on the car. Lord knows there's a ton of little details that take forever to get the car the way I want it.

Yeah, but I was just wanting to get the damn car mobile (coolant seals are wasted) and maybe boost the little sucker later on after paint, trim, gauges, interior, suspension, is sorted out, etc.
Yeah, in NA form the 12A bridge engine make SOOOOOOO much more power than the 12A streetports it's no comparison. I was thinking the streetport for now so I could have some kind of bottom end power. I can't get my mind off boost though so even if it doesn't happen now it can still be in the works. Plus with a boosted 12A it can keep things pretty modular.

Well, the engine is running really well now and I still think I can get more out of it by tunning. Need to buy an a/f and egt meter and hit the dyno too. Going to take it back to the track and see how it runs now. Here's a vid I took down an industrial street. Rolling first gear, second and third. As you can see I have some traction issues, especially first and second gear.

Computech
J,
If your interested I have several different wiring diagrams for MSD's, but I can send you something to ignite all 4 plugs with 1 MSD 6AL box. This is the cheap way of wiring up an MSD 6AL, but it works.
How high are you revving the motor with the new jetting combination?

The EGT Meter must have a fast update cycle time. The units I have seen from Aircraft Spruce are typically mechanical, and the update cycle time is too slow. So by the time your gauge is updated the motor is blown. The Computech EGT Meter is a Rotary Engine builders best friend because the update cycle time is 6-7 milliseconds. It is actually taking the hot exhaust gas temperature, and displaying the information in a digital format. The really nice part about the Computech single or dual probe unit is they have a memory recall button which will display the hottest point your EGT reached during a dyno pull or tuning session. The Computech units I recommend are not cheap, but they do a really good job of keeping the tuner informed.
