Man, no comments, you guys are brutal!

Ok, after the suspension sat overnight the front ended up dropping another 2+ inches and the wheels and tires look much better, however I am going to install the 24" tires to see which one's look better. I also painted my front grill to match the bling wheels. I think it looks much better than the worn out black and it goes really well with the alluminum radiator behind it. What do you guys think dammit?

I am jealous of your new brakes! Your car looks totally different with the new rims. Now you need to get to the track and let us know how you did.

No prob., I appreciate your honesty and opinion. At first, I didn't like it much but it's growing on me. When you see it with the wheels it looks much better. Hopefully sometime this year I'll get the paint and body work done and with some new paint and color????, it will look alot better.

Hey mate, greets from Oz Your cars looking good, definitely like what you've done

Any chance of some specs on your replacement 4 links? I'll be doing this to my beastie shortly, although I'm thinking of using a wishbone locator (similar to this only on the lower links) instead of the panhard rod.

J,
Still got the front sway bar eh? I believe you should re-consider taking it off per Manny Vidal's advise.

I was looking into it but on the rx2 the front sway bar is what sets the caster and if I take it off I think I will have problems. I don't know, has anyone removed their front sway bars on their rx2's and driven them?

Mel, I couldn't get ahold of Saun last weekend, I think he was dynoing a car or racing. I'll try again this weekend, maybe friday. I'll let you know.

Teddy, I already talked to Manny regarding the front sway bar. On the rx2 the front sway bar supports the lower control arm and strut. If you take it off then the whole strut will not have any support and the the wheel will move forward and back and you will be destined for a huge crash. You can remove the sway bar, but you would have to have an angle rod made to support the lower control arm/strut. See Allens pics on his rx3 because that's exactly what he did and you'll see what I mean. How fast did you drive your rx2 without the front sway bar? 2 pushes an hour.

Thanks guys for your comments.

rxc3, I just measured center to center on my old links and had some adjustables made with a 1/2" adjustment on both sides. These links are exactly the same length as the stock one's and bolt right up in the stock location without any mods needed. This just allows for fine tunning of the rearend and pinion angle.

Teddy, you know I'm just playin. What happended to your rx7 thread? Last time I checked it was in limbo. Have you had a chance to run the car yet? And what plans do you have for the car next? Update you f-ing thread pinche floho.

Hey, I know who you are. You have the rx2 sedan with the 13bpport from Australia, also running all motor. Angrybeeracing right? I have a couple responses on your thread at Ausrotary. I don't know how I missed you on your first post above. I just saw your avatar and it clicked. So, how is your project coming along and what's left?

I mounted my line lock today and made 90% of the brake lines. Need to make one more line and wire the switch up and then I'm ready to hit the track again. I'll post some pics soon.

Lol, yeah that's me, but it's only a Capella (piston engine version). It's all coming along nicely, guess I should post a thread here for all you guys

I'll be getting my new injectors and tune done shortly (also going the methanol route), mounted up my line locker and bias valve as well and just did a general tidy up of the wiring in the cabin. We're running a major meet here in March (Compak Attak - should be broadcast via Speed FM I think) so hopefully we'll get some laps up before then. I've still got a few things to fix/tidy (like some rims, 6 point cage, new diff housing etc) but that is an ongoing process which I'm sure you know all about

I'm gunning for mid to low 11's, I'll let you know how I go

Just wait until you see the whole package together, you'll change your mind. It was black before and I was tired of it. This grill will get my into the 7's... you'll see.
