I stopped worrying about no showers a long time ago.
Moving along..... I need some honest opinions here. Since my car is a full drag car and I don't need headlights I removed my headlights and brackets and made some black inserts out of lexan and mounted them in my grill. The picture does it no justice. It actually looks really cool. Depending on where you stand it looks like there is nothing there/black holes or it reflects like mirrors. Anyways, my question is what color should I paint the grill. Should I keep it silver or paint it black? If I paint it black I am worried that there would be too much black. The silver helps the black headlamps stand out. Or maybe paint everything black except the chrome rings around the black headlights? What do you guys think? Here's the pic.

Well, it's been a long time since I've updated this thread. I finally decided to do the body and paint on this turd, so I have been trying to do it myself. I have never done bodywork before, so I bought a hammer and dolly set and checked out some video's on the internet and went at it. It took some practice but anyone can do it. I first have been stipping down the doors and fenders and doing getting out as much dents as I could. Man oh man was there alot of body filler on this car. I think I am going to shed several pounds form this.
I should have the body stipped down and prepped for paint in the next coupld of weeks and then a friend is going to do the final bodywork and paint. I think I'm going to paint it Porsche GT3rs green. Here are some pics.

http://www.speedtv.com/programs/pass-time/ Ken works for the show and guesses cars times. He doesn't know **** about imports let alone a rotary.
The paint can use more pop than the dark green that's on there. The porsche green shure would get attention. Do any of the stock Rx2 paint colors look good to you?

What is femine? Isn't that when you can't grow crops and you go hungry for long periods of time.

Jay, if you like that color go for it! It's a track car anyhow and track cars can always pull off the crazy/loud paint schemes.
BTW, I have some images somewhere on my computer of a coupe in a similar green. As soon as I find them and host them I'll put it up for you.

Wow hey thats the color i picked for my rx3 And i know it will look good cuz i had my friend do a photo shop and he gotz the good program and wow my rx3 is going to look craxy good in that color so I think is going to look awsome in the rx2 aswell, I was going green and blacj with some chrome areas, but I think original old school colors are too dull for me, is great if you going original is greeat but if you going to show off your rotary in the track you defetly gotz to get this color., well I love color, is different i been looking for 3 years for a color and thats the color i picked,
color looks new and old in the same time, you will see it when you painted or have someone do a photo shop and you will know how it will look . great pick,
