I haven't weighed my car yet but 2300lbs with me in it is going to be really close.

Small update- I finally pinched one off and bought another MSD 6al. So I have the leading wired direct fire/wastespark and now the trailing thru the distributer cap. Now I can use my rev limiter functions which is set a 10,200rpm's and I will launch off of that! This should help me out alot with my 60ft times and will most likely put the front wheels in the air.
This weekend I am getting my scattershield made and my driveshaft loop installed and then it's off to the track again to try and better my time. Here's a couple pics of the MSD boxes and install.

Do you guys notice anything wierd with my MSD install from the engine bay pic?

Here's a vid from last night launching off the rev limiter at 10,200. I need to run the stock flywheel as the lightened steel is hurting me out of the hole. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbbSx6j1w9A

Since my last post I have done quite alot to my car. I removed all the factory fuel lines and fuel tank and installed stainless wire braided lines and an aluminum fuel tank in the rear. I finally got a chance to run my car in the 1/4 mile and although I had some fuel pressure problems I managed to run a decent 12.5 at 107 mph. The video is in my sig. I was able to weigh my car at the last event and it weighed 2120lbs with me in the car. I wiegh about 180lbs. In the all motor class I'm allowed to weigh 1850 with driver so I can lose alot of weight. Since knowing that I have been removing weight from the car. I removed all the glass windows, window crank mechanisms, chrome trim, even the noise insulation mat on the bottom of the floor pan. Believe it or not this insulation weighed about 25-30lbs- using dry ice was the ticket in removing this crap and it was still about 4-6hrs worth of work. I also removed the door bars in every door except the drivers door as I don't have a roll cage yet. I don't need a roll cage until I go 11.50 in the 1/4, so I'm ok for a little while. All in all I calculated about 150lbs that I removed from the car. This should really help reduce my power to weight ratio and I look forward to the next race event on September 5th. My goal is to run 11's with this small 12abridge. I am also going to install a full spool in my 9". I have been running a detroit locker which hooks pretty good but a spool is much lighter and will hook even better. In this last week I have been installing the Lexan windows in my car myself. I am very pleased with the progress and look. It's alot of work but worth it when I can sit back and say I built pretty much everything on the car.
I think that about catches us up to today. Here's some pics.

Thanks, I was going to go the 20b route, but way out of my price range right now. I'm saving up for a 13bpport.
Thanks, your starlet is coming along nicely too. I'll try and keep this thread updated up until I switch over to a pport.
Hey Jay, what size tires and gears are in your deuce? Your car runs good I have been following your threads. I broke my rear at summer slam at etown and I am setting up a 8.8 currently. I have a set 4.56 right now and hoping it's not to much don't want to shift into 5th.

Got a carbon fiber hood today and installed it. Looks pretty good. It sits a little high on the sides but I think I can adjust that out. I'm too damed hot and sick right now. Here are some pics.
