It's looking real sharp now. That's the first that i've seen of the side stripes in that color combo. I think it looks better than just plain white.
I did the same to my REPU to match my newly painted tailgate. Mind if i post some before/after pics.?

CA Before/After pics.

Applied and manually worked the magical rubbing/buffing compound to the body to match the freshly done tailgate and voila!

Wow 2 nice looking blue repus!

repuzentin - I can hardly tell the fresh tailgate paint from original paint in the pictures looks great!

blyfly - I think i need to try some of that castrol superclean under my hood. Its not terribly dirty but I wonder if I can use it to get the brighter yellow overspray off and leave the original yellow. Someday when I repaint I want mine to be original yellow again...

I love my REPU but I havent driven it in probably 7 months now. Im replacing the clutch, adding a banzai oil pan brace and replacing my lower control arms with 2 that I refurbished. Its taking a while with 2 small kids around but blwfly's progress is shaming me into working on it lately!

Hurry up and replace your parts that way you can start driving it again. Otherwise, just send the horn button my way and i'll take care of it for you in the meantime.

Yeah, blwfly is just flyin' on his project- way to go dude!

When my clutch slave cylinder gave out, i replaced it with a 1st gen. slave cyl. thinking that the thread pitches were the same, but ofcourse they weren't because it had the fine thread pitch.
So, i went ahead and replaced my old clutch m/c as well with a 1st gen. one, got rid of the repu's original hard line and replaced it with a 1st gen. line, and used Atkins ss braided flex hose by Goodridge.
Problem solved.

I can't make it this year and I'm bummed. I'm into 2 stroke street bikes just as much as rotaries. I'm going to a 2 stroke show the same day as SSXII. I've been building this bike for 2 years so I've gotta take it to the show.
