I will definitely check this.
I'm about to shower and then head out to get my car on a lift.

Say I'm on a hill/slight incline, stopped.
First gear, let off clutch a little and gas it so I balance out (kinda rock back and forth)
when I push the clutch back in there's a clunking sound.
And then it happens sometimes when I shift from 1st-2nd-3rd. But not all the time.
I'm unsure at what's causing it or what it could be.
I know I can forsure make it happen when I rock/balance out on an incline, but as far as driving and having it happen idk what triggers it.

My welded diff has recently started to sound pretty bad so I'm going to see if that has anything to do with it.
Thanks for mentioning the front diff mounts, i'll definitely have to check that too because sometimes it sounds like it's coming from the front.

Reports later!

Hmm... Well, if it's a large solid thud, then it's your front diff mount. If it's a lighter clunk it might be your driveshaft. Are you NA or turbo? I do have an extra NA driveshaft that I used for a few k miles just laying around if you wanna buy it. Good luck finding your clunk!

Okay, so my diff seems fine. enough fluid, everythings nice and tight and looks to be in place.
I officially figured out the clunk is coming from the front.. w/ clutch engagement.
It may be my driveshaft..I think I'll take it over to a shop and have it listened to/looked at and get another/better opinion.
I'll get back to you w/ a pm about that driveshaft, if that's indeed what it ends up being.

I couldn't do a hole lot to the engine. I added a few sensors and hoses back. Separated the parts out that i want coated. Awaiting my upgraded fuel rail, should be in today.

found my OMP is leaking also and I already knew this but so is my oil return for the turbo, luckaly its the one that I can get at without removing the turbo. even though I can get that turbo off quick. I've only done it like 6 times in the last 6 months.....

I bought some more oil for it, and adjusted my bov some. still needs work. it use to flutter after a red line shift, and it doesn't do that anymore.... wtf

Fixed the drivers side electric window and spent the rest of the day on the net looking for parts and answers.

Posting this about yesterday because I was too tired to do it then.

- Rebuilt the 4-piston calipers for my moms GTU.
- Tore apart the factory s5 cd player to restore it to working condition
- Bolted the seats back in place so we can actually drive the car

Installed the new kit, and had to raise my coilovers since it was literally 2cm from the ground, intense

Pulled out my passenger seat, drove over to AA's house, and picked up an SA-CA-12A, used the vacant passenger space to haul it home.

It's kind of like making a transplant recipient carry their new kidney to the hospital in the little red cooler.

Bit heavier, though.

(Whoops; wrong region, heh. Hi, NW peeps!)

Got the GSL-SE fuel system swap all bolted in today, gas tank, fuel pump/filter and the lines. The Mallory 4309 fuel regulator will go in next, add some gas and start tuning.
Good times!
