Yeah i think its going to stay with me for a long time.. I have decided i have no wish to own a full blown track car (race car that i drive on the street that is), so its taken the place of, well, all my cars...

Got some new meat and rims for beckys t2 yesterday though (free rules, well the rims not the tires, those hurt, well credit so they will hurt later ) so i can start putting all the goodies back on the rhd and get it off the trailer.

ANd the rims were new (no its no rash in the pic but that grease they put on the tires when mounting them )

I think you have really high expectations on the price of a rhd car.

I know what its worth, its only worth about 5k when done.. But to me its worth three or four times that... Kinda like that kit to you is worth three times what i know most would pay for it, its all what the person who wants it will pay for it or what the person selling it wants for it....

And dont tempt me, i want that kit bad, but i shouldnt even be thinking about it, and i am currently saving up for a kit

yeah, its a day by day process, but its still goin and thats all that matters right one day at a time, and seriously one penny at a time for savings...lol.. In about three years i will have a kit

 

crappy cell phone pics... But heres the update....
I spent all day yesterday and this morning working on it.
All the drivetrain is complete. I got the suspension all bolted up and brakes and fuel system done... I got braided lines on the front and am getting the rears soon.

Tomorrow i am going to start on the engine bay and finish it up and paint it white so i can start putting the rad,fan,oil cooler, fmic,ect on it and finish that up...

I decided not to repaint all of the underside untill the body has been painted as i dont want the white overspray spattering all over the black wheel wells and then have to go over it again...

 

and i think that the white calipers and the white rotors look good no matter how many people told be it was going to look bad.. When i get the deep dish rims that will be powder coated white on there and the cars s5 white and slammed it will look even better

 

They look nice Joe. But Damn! They are gonna be a bitch to keep clean! LOL

 

dont i know it, but its worth it... I likey the blingy.... at least i gave up on painting the underside of the car white as well....

Well i got the rest of the motor parts i needed in today (minus the seemingly hard to find t2 tps) and am thinking about getting it running after i finish the engine bay which i am currently working on.. Its hard to get it all spotless and sanded in all nooks and crannies and ready for paint.. I wish i could just twidel my nose and its done

and as soon as someone buys my damn first gen i can get the rest of my body kit ordered and the shine roof spoiler (i dont care if any you guys dont like it, i do )

yeah, i had the roof spoiler. that is until i trailered my car to a drift event backwards and it ripped it off on I-5. little fact i learned about them, don't drive the car backwards past 45mph

^^^ hahaha good idea. when i get another fc, i'll probably buy that roof spoiler from ken. i don't much like the look of spoilers on the fc, unless it's the factory one.

 

+1 I got a kick *** fiberglass one from from dustin for cheap as **** and new doors from the free t2 and bruce so all i need is the front air dam and roof spoiler and its ready for paint!

speaking of... why is the one i have fiberglass (i love it, not bitching!) and every other one from issacs gtu to all bruces are a rubber style? What model came with the glass instead of the plastic??

taylor got a damn factory spoiler for 20 dollars ! lol he beat me to it too. i didn't have an fc and i was still gonna buy it xD. that's a good question on the fiberglass. is it a knock off?

All i know, is if it is a knock off i love it way more than the stock ones, no antenna bulge or cracking paint from rubber moving.. Everyone bitches about glass cracking or spider webbing, but compared to how easilly and fast paint cracks on rubber, i'll take it glass any day!!!
