i actually never noticed that the rhd car was originally a t2 and there was a boost gauge in the cluster.... So i will be putting the S5 motor in the FB and putting a turbo motor in this one... I will eventually get my FB to be a turbo car as well, but i just want it running again atm

^All FC's in Japan were Turbo, but not called Turbo II. There was no such thing as NA or 6 port over there...

Didnt work on it for a little while, but i finally got some time in on it here and there the last week... Had to undo everything i had done to get the carpet in and all the parts on correctly, the wiring was a nightmare, but its all sorted out, and i cannot install the S5 seatbelts in it till i mount brackets for it and mod a placement for the bottom belt :-|

Other than that, i am missing a few interior parts and some engine parts, otherwise i am going to install the engine and tranny this week and see if i cant get it running!!!

She looks great with that interior you got from me!

Except the rear speaker covers look gray... I wonder why there were in that car. I have a set of black ones for you if you so wish.

I also have those bin lids, I didn't notice those didn't get to you either.

The A-Pillar's I'm even going to need to order new I think for the GTU... we spent $250 or so on BRAND new interior trim for that car.

He got the carpet from me, all I have left is front carpet, then a near 100% full black perfect interior that I will be selling AS A WHOLE. Will not part it out due to the fact of how complete it is and how the seats and door panels match.

But its close, got the 5 lug conversion done, its not sitting one some super awsomely awfull toyota rims, but its somthing and they were free.

Well i got some more done to it in the last few days...

I have decided i am going full blown with this build and covering all parts. So i started taking it all down again (except interior and wiring of course, that was done right the first time, and all was prepped correctly).

So i had it all togeather exterior and suspension wise and then decided i want every part if not new to be as clean as new and the underside painted the same S5 white as the exterior is going. So as i lost my shop and the weather is changing i decided to use my trailer under it and the carport for cover.. worked out great actually, the place is dry and warm, i am off the ground, the car is stable as well is the trailer and i can use a kreeper and move around/work much faster. So thats helped..lol...

Got it in the air, and started stripping it down all the way.. Noticed the rear subframe was cracked where the diff was so i got a new one redid it.

Got the diff and half shafts done, as well as a new bushing and repainted the diff mounting bracket. Got the aftermarket parts all cleaned up and the brakes rebuilt and painted to match the scheem

Pulled the gas tank yesterday and am cleaning it now, going to prep and paint it then the lines... Tomarrow i am cleaning under the car and getting it prepped for paint.. not looking forward to removing over 20 yrs of crap....

Oh, and i also got some nice rear black leather seats from a 91 for it... Got the carpet, mounting brackets, hardware, belts, ect for a awesome price!

so.... i got a bunch more done to this this week... Got the rest of the subframe,crossmember,brakes,suspension,fuel/brake lines and half shafts cleaned, rebuilt and painted...

I started on the bottom of the cars cleaning, but its going to take a while its NASTY!!! Still not sure what route i should go color wise though.. WHAT ARE YOUR OPINIONS??? Should i go white on the bottom minus the drive train and sub frame parts, and keep the cars body all white (there would be no breaking lines in color where the firewall tunnel meets the underside of the car.. But the wheel wells will be a bitch to keep clean.... Or i can flat black all of the underside and wheel wells and then just white the engine bay and make a cut off line to black under the firewall where it cant be seen from up top.... ugh... dunno what to do, luckilly i am still cleaning..

And i know that most people do not like them ( i dont care this car is for me, please keep your opinions to yourself if ya dont like it ), but i want one of those top hatch spoilers (leftcoastdrifter has one, so you know what i am talking about)....So if you know where to get one, let me know so i can get it!!

Well thats about all i have gotten done so far, but i am slowly getting there. I am hoping to have the body kit here soon, it apparently takes up to a month for shipping :\ But its going to be the next step

I agree, but i f**king HAAAAAAAAAAAAATE Two tone color look on the FC's.. Then again it will only be seen by those who own a lift Ugh, decisions suck.. But i am leaning towards the flat black just cause of cleaning reasons (although this car will probably not see rain when i get done with it (yeah i know that means i will drive it three times a year here in oregon...haha)

You should sell it back to me so I can put a R-Magic kit on it.
