Here ya go. Sorry for the inside/dark/dirty pics. I have the car on wheel dollies to move it around while it's in the garage. I'll put her back on her tires and roll her outside for a wash and better photo shoot. Sean @ Aspec tuning is very busy and doesn't correspond often, I'm waiting for him to get back to me on the plans to rebuild the motor. From the emailed photos, it looks like he'll be working on the two downpipes next on the turbo manifold project. I'm very satisfied with his work so far. Rotaryengine.com and Pineapple are still options at this point. With the new paint job coming up, I'm removing everything from the engine bay.

I chose to rid my FD of the factory Bose setup. After reading a couple of threads on how others went about mounting aftermarket door speakers, I found this link; http://www.car-speaker-adapters.com/
I decided to order their speaker adapter brackets, they just arrived. So here are some pics.

are those just for the fronts? I'm gonna have my door panel off to replace my door handle and want to do my speakers at the same time. I need to look into how to do the rears.

edit: looks decent, I would love to see it more in profile and from the rear 3/4 view when it gets pushed outside for a wash.

Yes, the brackets are just for the doors, they do sell a mounting bracket set for the rear pillar speaker location also.

Here is a comparison of the factory bose unit vs. the new adapter.

To answer your question, they fit perfectly. The included screws did seem too short though and will be replaced with longer ones.

All right, a sunny/overcast (typical June day in Washington state) photo shoot. I pushed her out of the garage and gave her a scrubbing. It was nice to see the shine once again after five years of letting her sit. Keep in mind that the car is far from finished and the exterior parts are barely bolted on to give you guys a preview of the final look that I'm working towards. Nevermind the weeds and stuff cluttering my driveway, I work too much overtime. On with the pics...

All of these pics were taken with my new digital (cheap) camera on easy mode, it gets the job done.

The lens is a little to wide angle for me, but it is what it is.

Here's some aerial views, getting creative with my options by standing on top of my house.

Test fitting my Feed front fenders, has shown me that my door hinges will need to be removed, relocated and re-welded. Just not going to cut it. Oh well, no biggie. Anyways, what do you guys think of the choice of exterior parts?

Doesn't look like much now, but this is my favorite front bumper. It will look better with time and some $$$. I removed the pop ups to make way for some Rotary run racing sleeks. As you can see it's a work in progress with no rush to complete. Comments gentlemen?

Thanks for the pics of the rear bumper..

I can't wait for you to paint that bumper... white kind of sticks out and now I'm second guessing on the bumper.. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Can you give a little more of an explanation? Do you plan to post pictures of this process? I ask because I ended up purchasing the hinges as per your recommendation, I also have the same fenders, just never got a chance to install either.

No problem, Scott! The placement of the hinges are off by 1/4". Gary and I never fit the front fenders to realize the final fitment. I'll take some pics.

I think the only thing messing with the final design is the bottom bulge on the rear bumper, just not feeling it.

My wife always says " it looks like a butt, taking a poop". Once the exhaust, paint, diffuser and a few custom touches are implemented, it will look better. I need to send out some parts to be overlaid in twin weave carbon fiber. I want everything on the exterior to match.

you should paint it brown for a bit, just for ***** and giggles. Or maybe find brown masking tape.
