Alright, after looking at it, applying bondo the the rocker panel would be a bad idea considering how many times this car will be jacked up to change tires in the future, so I re-sealed and will be sanding the extra once dry to get a smooth transistion. Final sanding of bondo now, paint is getting close.

I attached some pics of parts I got recently from Pineapple. Air pump elimination idler wheel and twin exhaust temp kit.

Peace

No I didn't, but during install I would probably have figured it out anyway. Thanks for the heads up though.

Here's another goody from Pineapple....Intake Air Flow Balancer. From this unit Rob say's you can balance the front/rear intake track air flow, which it isn't in stock config. One piece to the equation why the rear runs leaner than the front. You tune it by using the exhaust temp at the marker. Hence I recently purchased their exhaust temp setup.

Blake what's the technical name for this part?

The rose goes in front, big guy. Yeah, it would be impossible to install it backwards.

Er, um...we don't really have an "official" name for it. Intake Air Flow Balancer (IAFB) seems the likely choice, unless we can come up with something more colorful. The goal, of course, is to balance combustion between the rotors by adjusting the flow of air and fuel into them, individually. FDs manifolds are horrible. Even if your AFR looks good, you are only seeing the AVERAGE of the two rotors, so a lean condition on one is not always apparent. Dual EGT is the ideal way to identify poor balance and the IAFB is the ideal way to correct it. The alternative is to tune for the leanest chamber, which is safe but sacrifices power and economy.

Sweet I named it, awwww, that's my IAFB for ya, haha.

Note to all you twin turbo guys you can't use this item with the stock rear turbo intake tube in place.

BUT, you will be able too with my custom Intake/IC/RAD unit I will be fab'n up later this year, so give me and Pineapple a call if you want to gain reliability while making more power with what you got, hehe.

So last weekend was interesting, had three FDs in the garage getting work done on them.

I finished sanding the first main layer and applied glazing on my car, then worked on Vince H. 94 31K FD.

Installed a full exhaust system from RX-7.com, Greddy Profec S boost controller and fixed little issues with the car, like resealing a floor plug, fixing frayed and exposed wires I came across while routing stuff, etc.. A lot of ****'n work, the down pipe was interesting, had to place the down pipe in place before I installed the studs and then nuts! It turned out really clean though. After tuning I was very impressed with the improvement in performance. Got a really nice 10-8-10 with very quick response both at achieving boost and transition. The exhaust note from the Racing Beat cat back was nice too.

Spyder worked on his car fixing a rear main seal, clutch and few other things. What a mess he created, it was like the Exxon Valdez spill.

Your an astute guy, you figure it out.

Kidding, "The Bent Valve" acts as a stop to prevent the flywheel from spinning while removing or installing the eccentric shaft flywheel nut.
