. ). but i was driving and it was wet, i looked away n then at my gauges n then up and she was at a complete stop n i locked em up. it sucked, the lady was like 'my arm hurts.' but i dunno how the hell ur arm hurts when u get rearended at 10 mph. but yah there was some paint on the bumper from her licsence plate holder but rubbing compound took car of that n it'll do the job on all the other slightly scratched paint but the header panel is toast n i need to find a good one.

Come to findout it's his first ever trackday and not knowing better brought a bicycle helmet to this event. The tech exclaims you can't used that, I turn around and offer my helmet in exchange for letting me drive his car (sarcastically) and he say okay! I'm like "oh ****, shake my hand and confirm the deal"!
Man, I tell you that car is ******* fast. It's my new street car for which I baseline all others until a faster one comes my way! Terry the owner is probably one of the coolest guys I've meet too. I gave him some instruction during the first few outings. A little rough starting out, but he figured it out quick and was fast the whole day thereafter! Pretty impressive how quickly he picked it up actually.
Then I got to drive Dave's Lotus, thanks Dave! Had a blast trying to keep up with the GT around the corners until he left me in the dust at the straightaways. Unfortunately I bottomed out the front bumper entering a gas station. I'm having a friend of mine (Leo) fix it tomorrow. Fortunately it's at a spot you can't see with out getting on your knees and looking at the bottom of the car. It should be fixable, if not, then I owe him a new full one piece front end.
Then on the last session out I get to drive Lance's Mazda 3, thanks Lance! That was fun too, considering I made a lot of guys frustrated in faster cars by keeping up and passing them. Lance did you notice the guy in the old lotus trying to get rid of me but couldn't do it, so he gave up and let me by? Hehe
Oh, I got the truck motor out Saturday and waiting for parts to come in Wednesday to fix it. Not going to get a Reman at $1400, not worth it. Cutting it close for next weekend, but hopefully I can get it done.
Rock on

Geez, I wonder why I have a knocking sound in my motor. Amazingly the cylinder wall wasn't damaged.
Got Damien D's Titanium backing plates for the front brakes too. Brake fade should be lessened now on track days.

Well got the twin oil cooler kit from Gotham this weekend, finished cleaning the truck motor and fixed the broken clutch fitting on John's Rabbit. Unfortunately I accidentally melted one of the fuel lines on the Rabbit when my ground snaped off and grounded itself to the fuel line. Yeah
