Sorry for the tread jacking Joe. Chris' car is looking great!

base coat has been laid... Waiting for it to cure, then wet sand and lay final coat!

I'll get better pics with the good camera as soon as its leveled and has dried.

So went out, i left the heat lamps and a oil heater on last night cause it usually keeps it around 55+, but i found it to be about 45..... Atfter a thourough look around, all is ok... Kinda scary!

Hey Joe, I know you've got some other things goin into the booth soon. So in case you haven't heard of these guys, thought I'd share. I've used some of thier coatings, and seen others first hand. These guys are state of the art in paint, and carry some of the wildest colors/candies/chromes/effects I've ever seen! Have a look. Check em' out, they are legit.

When you were talking about the blue you wanted to use on the BRE, I was picturing the blue on the bike in the middle of the page when you go to coatings>base pearls>product showcase. It's freakin gorgeous!

I'm WAY more stoked just to see it done. We've been... ok mostly Joe's been ... putting A LOT of effort into this car ... WAY more than he's been letting on or sharing with everyone. When he jokes about spending 10-12 hours working on it... he has been... straight without breaks (well maybe a few smoke breaks )
It pains me to see him working so hard on it.
He watches his kid all day and when his wife gets home he spends all night working on the car. I know he's ready for it to be done also.
It's getting there.. color sanding tonight or tomorrow and two more coats by this weekend... probably Sunday as that's supposed to be the warmest.

... getting there.... close enough I can smell the paint off-gasing
