Wiring issues (S4 T2)

Hey y’all looking for some guidance trying to figure out an issue I have.

1987 T2. Cooling fan (ac condenser pull fan) kicks on when the key is in the on position.

I’ve been trying to bring back to life a car that has sat for a few years and have been going over a lot of the car. I will attach some images of the work I’ve done so far. Today I will recheck my grounds to make sure they are all good, but any guidance would be great. Thank you in advance.

I noticed the voltage drop from the IG2 wire [B/W @ IG SW —> B/R (E)]is really slow when I turn the key onto the start position. Takes roughly 5X as long as the L wire for example.

If I disconnect the fuse (Y 15amp) the fan will not turn on.

Highlighted yellow path corresponds with IG2 (3) path via first photo and orange path corresponds with IG1 (2) Meaning that is/was a known 12V.

edit: While looking at the photos I realized it might be a good idea to remove the meter (7.5amp) fuse in the IG1 bus to see if the fan still kicks on. I suppose if the meter fuse is disconnected and the issue does not persist then my wiring issue is from the IG1 bus to F-75

It sounds like you have an aftermarket eclectic fan you are trying to get running. Is this correct?

negative. I have a clutch fan for car cooling. The fan for the AC condenser comes on, on its own in the key is in “on” position.

Are you talking about the AC clutch fan on AC compressor? There isn't a separate cooling fan for the AC condenser.

post #8 explains a bit of how it works, and others like #11 confirm that their vehicles have them (on non A/T vehicles)

Edit: I also want to say thank you for reaching out. I appreciate it.
