t2 efan and mechanical?

ok my car has an efan infront of the radiator and the mechanical fan behind the radiator just wondering if this was stock or not b/c it dosent make sense to me it seems like they would work against each other.

Some other guy just asked the same thing..... its an extra helper fan for the A/C system.. comes on when you turn the AC system on..

Are you sure??? if that were true then wouldnt every fc with a/c have one? Well, mine comes on when i pull the egi fuse and the one time i overheated a tad it was running with the fuse in so im pretty sure its just a dealer option that comes on at a certain temp.

Well, the fan does come on when you run the A/C, and thats primarily what its for. Lots of cars have them, like 240's. But i can remember a time when the e-fan would stay running after i shut the car down.

It is. The electric fan runs whenever the A/C is on or when coolant temps are high (>205degF).

They don't work against each other. The one behing the radiator is a puller and the one in front is a pusher. Do you really think Mazda are that dumb?
