60A Fan fuse keeps blowing?
Ive been running on 1 fan for a while, getting my new one soon. Ihave been running with the ac relay pulled so I can turn my fan on at any time. Thats been fine for the last 2 weeks. Tonite I notice my water temps went crazy and I found that my fuse was blown. I turned the car off and was able to replace it with the ABS fuse. The funny thing, with the car OFF when I put the fuse in the fan will turn. when I turn the key to the first position, the fuse blows. I have no idea...
Any suggestions?
Thanks: My car is DESTINE to overheat. I know it.

hmmm, is there anything blocking the second fan from turning? you probally have something thats grounding near the fan relays, for some reason, those wires always get brittle or cracked.

Thank you all. I have almost given up and ready to accept that my car WILL over heat eventually. I'm towing it to ricks this morning. I have had:
1) Drivers side FAN go bad 2 times (including now)
2) This problem with the fuse blowing
3) all my radiator hoses explode.
4) my AST crack while driving it
5) ?????
I need to accept that its going to eventually overheat, its just a fact.
I'll reply back to this thread and let you know what it was.

I had a problem similar to that
one day my fans decided to just quit.
The fuse's would just blow like it was nothing.
I just got a manual switch installed and run them constantly now.
But i honestly would have preffered some kind of proper fix if i could have figured out what the hell was going on.
