TX Lower intake hoses

hi new to the forms

i just got a 87 s4 that has been sitting for 9 yrs. i cleaned everything up and out.. got it to run but it runs badly. well went to clean it deeper and took off the upper intake manifold. it looks like it had caught on fire from the PD leaking. All the hoses under there where burnt i have a book but i cant find what they all go to... so here i am. anyone have any ideas as to what they go to? I saw somewhere there should be a tee under there.

oh yea its a 87 n/a unsure on body stile dose not say on the car.

If someone could just post a picture or a link to one would help a ton.

I have a 1991 so the vacuum lines are different but on my car all those vacuum lines go into a metal vacuum spider which is not in your picture. Check out this thread https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/authorative-s5-n-vacuum-thread-931057/ Again that thread is for an S5

You can find the s4 vac diagram in post 6 of this thread https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/s5-n-rats-nest-961147/.

The black vacuum lines coming off the oil injectors go to a metal vacuum spider. The clear (dirty) broken circled lines, that point toward the front of the car, are your oil metering pump lines they go to the oil metering pump, since they are broken you should mix some 2 stroke oil into your gas if your going to be running the car at all, do 1 oz per gallon of gas

Also, check out Aaron's web page on how to take care of an rx7 that has been sitting for a long time http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/unstore.htm

Ok i now know that the big oil injector lines go into a 5 tee then up to the upper intake manifold. the little one in the middle goes to the upper manifold as well. question is what kind of hose do i use to replace the little hoses from the oil injectors to the OMP?
I'm guessing it has to be strong for oil to travel though it?

This is how I did it. Got the line and clamps off of mcmaster.com. The part numbers and everything you need to know is in this archive thread.

Just to clarify, the lines going into the top of the oil injectors actually go to a metered air source (not vacuum), which will be the larger nipple on the back side of the TB. Since it comes from before the throttle plates, the incoming air helps to atomize the oil as it gets injected. And as mentioned, a splitter is used to connect all 4 to the single nipple. The S4 one is black plastic.

For the oil-carrying lines, the method in that archived thread is good. Just be sure the ends get clamped well, or you'll be pulling the manifold off to fix the leak. You can also buy replacement lines from Mazda/Mazdatrix: http://www.mazdatrix.com/b62.htm. They're about $100, but they're formed lines that'll last another 20+ years.

You should also remove the injectors to be sure they're not plugged. Blow through the top and check for air flow out the bottom.

Theres no valve as far as i know but the diameter of the single metered air tube that supplys those 5 nipples is larger. The easiest way would be to post a wanting to buy ad for the spliter. Shouldn't cost much and there should be plenty around. Get the supply tube that connects to the tb as well.
