Another FD cranks, but wont start.

Hello Fd members.

Have some issues with starting my 1993 FD3S, so hope you guys, can help me with some tips.
Car has runned and started perfectly since. Engine has been streetportet 55k km ago. Have perfect compression, got Gt35 single turbo and Power FC.

All started one day, when i started car, before normal sunday cruise. Car was idling normal, but after 5min engine just stopt. Tried to start it, but it wont start. Engine cranks when you try to start it, rpm goes up to around 300-350rpm while cranking and dash lights shuts off, like it would started.
So started to go through air, fuel spark, deflooding procedures.
- Fuel: Replaced fuel pump, checked voltage on pump, checked injectors, checked fuel pressure, all seems good.
-Spark: Replaced spark plugs 9's up, 7's bottom. Replaced ignition wires. Put them correctly back on correct spark plug. Have spark.
-AIR: checked TPS. All Ok.
-Deflooding: done, like it should be done on rotary engines.

Also battery gives good voltage. Replaced Map sensor, Ignitor. Fluids checked.
Tried to start it again, cranks, but won't start. But notice engine and turbo got quite hot, after cranking for couple times. Also light blue smoke and smell of fuel from exhaust.

Im almost out of ideas, so hope to get some more info of what might be issue.
Daniel

When you crank the engine does it sound like it's building compression or just a flat whine sound of the starter? How did you preform the deflooding?

Yes, it does sound like it builds compression. Deflooding - spark plugs out, fuel pump realay out, crank it couple times, with throttle pedal down, spark plugs and relay back in.

Mmmmm...

Have you done a sensor check on the PFC commander to see if there's anything shaded (faults)?
Have you checked fuel pressure after the regulator?

Never personally had an issue with either, so I'm not sure exactly what the symptoms would be. But the only other things that I can think of off-hand is that a leading coil has gone south (you have spark but it's insufficient) or a crank angle sensor (crank position sensor) has failed. Both are pretty easy to bench-test for resistance out of the car.

To Sgtblue. Done resistance test today for Leading coil and crank angle sensors, and didnt find anything unusual. I attached pfc picture from commander.

My manual is at my shop and and too lazy to look it up on-line. Could be nothing, but I’d find out what CCN and PAC are abbreviations for.
