So my car will crank...sometimes. It just randomly does it when it wants.

When it does crank, car trys to start, like, i hear fire and all, revs to 600rpms or so(when just cranking with no fire, only revs to 200). But it wont' catch. It just dies.

So my question is... Is there a relay of some sort or a fuse that maybe hasn't quite blown all the way or....anything that I should be checking?

PFC comes on, shows all sensors working fine. all my electronics work in the car if that helps.

 

Your engine requires three things to run: air, fuel and spark. You need to explore each area to ascertain what is not happening. I would suggest you pull each wire, insert a spare plug and see if you are getting spark as a first step as that is the simplest thing to check. If you are getting spark, then you need to analyze whether you are getting fuel. Is your pump running? Are the injectors firing? When is the last time you changed your fuel filter? etc.

Also, if you are not cranking all the time, it suggests either a battery problem, a starter problem or a loose connection between the two.

 

When was the last time you replaced your spark plugs? Have you verified spark? Have you tried starting the car with starting fluid?
