Make sure it’s getting fuel (is fuel pump getting power and working?) and check for spark. If you have both fuel and spark but it won’t start check compression. Search for ways to do that.

Agreed, make sure she's getting fuel. Spray starting fluid in if you're not sure. Also pull one plug and lay it on the frame somewhere to ground it and double check to make sure it sparks when you crank the starter.

Take it one step at a time. Make sure the engine has Air, Fuel, and Spark

If it's getting fuel and spark try push starting it. RX7s have a tendency to foul spark plugs. If this is the problem a push from some buddy's will start it up it will probably run rough for a few seconds til the plugs clean up. I had to have a tow with a strap to start mine one time.It smoked like crazy for a while then smoothed right out.
