That is all fine and good but why bother with it if all you have to do it tighten the PPF bolts. I am assuming here because I haven't seen whats up with your car myself. The noise you claim is coming from the diff bushings might very well just bee a loose or cracked PPF. Were the bolts loose on the PPF when you first inspected the noise? If so then there is your bandit and buying new diff bushings would be throwing money out the window.

Hope that you are able to get it straight either way Josh.
Good luck.

well to tighten those ppf bolts that go through the transmission you also need the locking tab. I got one from malloy for 5 bucks so i cant complain. When i get that i will take off the ppf for an inspection and find the tru culprit. As far as diff buschings -- I alread have them. Mazda Speed buschings that ive had for about 6 months now i just havent had time to put them in. but I did get a good look and it was the actual driveshat hitting the tunnel where the shaft connects to the diff..... not too much dammage but if I ever change out the driveshat I will have to cut those two pins out because they were somewhat rounded off when they hit the tunnel

Where would be the best local place to source a rear axle? It is for a 1990 GTU. I had a little mishap and need it repaired and inspected by the 5th! The rear passenger side axle is bent beyond repair. If there is frame damage I will part the car out and get a turbo FC.

The MD temp tags law blows!

I dunno. You might try the Brandywine junkyard.

I sold my Eclipse Spyder and bought a 4WD crew cab Frontier this past weekend. I'll miss the drop top, but I really needed a truck!

Yea I surprised myself. It slipped right into the trans first shot and I had the bell housing bolted up in like two seconds flat. I should be able to wrap it up soon with the little odds and ends.
I seen Harsha today standing on the side of the beltway talking to someone. I don't know what he was doing.

Who the heck has convo's on the side of the beltway? That's random even for Ryan.

Need somebody to let me look under their hood. I need to eyeball one of you guys 3rd gen brake lines under the hood. I need to compare notes against the stock lines and plumbing so I can plan out mine. I did not plan on taking so long with mine otherwise I would have snaped a photo before taking it all apart. It will take like five minutes. I need to grab a pic and peek around a bit. Anyone want to come help me out?

Brian, I have been busy but maybe you have some free time so I could come by your place? I'll help you get that down pipe off if you let me see your brake lines. How about HOOTERS tonight? I am bored as hell.
