Hey guys. Anyone have any suggestions for getting around the hairpin turn at gforce? I keep kicking the rear out and it bogs down. Anyone have any line suggestions/tips? I went today for my second time, did 2 races, best time was 25.7 Need to cut off a lot of time. What's everybody here's best time? Maybe we can all go some time.

I don't know the turn #'s but the last corner just before you start slowing down for the hairpin, ease off the gas there, go to the far outside (just prior to the hairpin) tap the brakes and cut in as close to the apex as possible. As you come out of the hairpin you want to keep as much speed as possible so go wide (you are going to come pretty close to brushing that far wall). If i can get one of those diagrams and scan it i will draw the line for you. my best time is 22.45x.

Welcome Zach. I will keep my eyes open for anyone looking for a temp. roommate or short term tennant.

Take turn 3 wide, cut in sharply towards the outer wall. There are two poles for the roof of the building there. Point your car right towards the second one. When you are about 3 feet from the point of the hairpen, lift, turn as sharply as possible. Accelerate as quickly as possible but do not get the rear end loose. Several laps will get you comfy with when to accelerate. Best lap is a 22 flat.

22 flat???!! You should be #1 on the top 100 list with that time. What is your race name??

So you take the turn before the hairpin wide, going way to the left side of the track, then move in to the right, ease off the gas when? i'm kinda confused. i need more seat time heh.

this is hard to explain without a diagram! no, do not take the turn before the hairpin wide, take it as close as possible, but slow enough to where you don't get really close to the left wall as you come out of it, then move to the right side of the track, tap the brakes and take the hairpin (as close to the apex as possible) then go wide as you leave the apex to keep your speed up. Hope that makes better sense!

Race name is cafcwest. No, its not #1. The low time is like 21.2. A few weeks ago I was in the 80's though when I set the time.

What really pissed me off about G-Force was last time I was there they said my membership had expired and they wanted 30 bucks. They NEVER said anythign about that when I signed up...it was a one time charge. I understand tehy are going through ruff times, but thats effed up in my opinion.

I was there last night and the best time as of then was 22.335 by mike v. Maybe we are talking about a different g-force??

Rob, why didn't your 22.45 go up from the last race? I guess when we go it doesn't go through the computer or something? That sucks because our whole group would be in the top 100!
cafcwest, are you thinking 23 flat?

I could be FUBAR and thinking wack, but I don't think so. 22.3 may have been the fastest of the day, but not overall. Hell, my friend from who lives here but goes to school in Ohio came back a few weeks ago and was running mid 22's..and he isn't perfect by far.

I'll check my printouts at home though - Again, I could be wrong.

The last date on the online results page is from early November...I don't know how often he updates it.

On my results sheet from Saturday night it has the best time ever along with record of the week, month and year. Best record ever on that is mike v at 22.335, which is the same as the online results.

Don't mean to start an argument, I just want to make sure I am not losing my mind!

I was talking to Joe when it happened. Yea he's not feelin too well. Anyways, all of a sudden his office started shaking and he leaned on the wall and said "Dude I'm not the only one feeling that right?" Poor Joe, I think he swore the fever had gotten to him. Also Joe, when you first got it, were you aching all over? Like you had been working out for a ong time and you an barely move?
