Video soon :o Wish I could have stayed for the wheelie contest, that would have made some cool footage. Dad said next time he'll come down and sign for me. Maybe I can get some in car cam shots. I'm using the footage from last night to make a kinda big movie, so we'll see how it turns out. Right now the editing program is frozen, so it better fix itself because I didn't save anything yet... :x

Oh yeah mike, I forgot to tell you this funny story. Me and Carter were in the stands during your first run, and right after it we hear these 2 guys behind us:

Guy1: I think that's an RX-7.
Guy2: No, man. It's a Ford Probe.
Guy1: Are you sure?
Guy2: Yeah, it's a Probe.

Hehe.

Bike night is always cool at VMP. I think those guys must be a little crazy to do that sort of thing.

That car would be worth $2K if it had a good engine. I like how he sidestepped that it needs another motor.

and also the fact that he said it has a nice leather interior, well, except that that nice leather interior is so messed up he needed to get another drivers side seat and has a cover on his passenger

Door panels maybe?

So if AED is supposed to have a dyno available now, anyone have some contact info for me? Sure i've just about doubled my mileage but i'm still running pig rich (anywhere from 11.7-13.1 cruising...)!

I also have to figure out something for an exhaust...the whole thing.

If I had 1500 I'd buy that thing in a heartbeat. S5 TIIs are hard to come by, or at least I never see them. Maybe I'll get another credit card...

Did I run into anyone today? It was like 3-4 or so and I saw a white FC at dicks sporting good. License plate was like Ltl something. I was about to scream "The RX-7 Club Knows About You" but I didn't get within hearing range. Anyone know who this was?

Mine will...

I'm going to use my AUX out to control it so it'll run below a certain temp range.

Pretty cool. I wonder if a microtech is worth it for an NA?

David, check out these photos of the engine. The rotor bearings are pretty worn out.

I'll post some of the engine as I get things cleaned up.

I'd seriously wait and see the results of others getting it for a NA. They are supposed to be (or are talking about) changing the load points in the software so that there are more points in vacuum to allow for better tuning on a NA platform...I guess a 20psi cell is kinda pointless...

hey joe,on the way back from zachs house mon. i stopped at AED.They have the dyno in storage they are just waiting on the construction crew to finish the garage. They are not happy with there progress, but i guess you can understand with all the rain we have been having. They said a good estimate of having the dyno ready would be between 45-90 days.Which i think it will be sooner than that, they have the garage up,they just have to finish the grout work for the dyno, then install it.My guess would be end of july.

Hey rob, havent heard from you in a page or so,(must be liking that new job) Hows premix working? What did you do with the old metering lines,my bros are broke up bad and in need of some decent shape ones.
Hey zach did you put that wheel on yet?I got bored and started looking for 12A parts:Kevin Bonfiglio, Glendora, NJ ph. 1-609-790-0812 [ email: battlecatok@aol.com ]
I have a set of non turbo rotors laying around if any one is interested. Good shape ,may need new bearings. Asking$100 for both! Also have other misc. parts from an 85, just ask if your looking for something.

Hey David, things are going good at work. I wish this could be a year-round job! Premix is working out, i need to figure out an efficient way to fill that 12oz container using the gallon of 2 stroke oil i bought. I do have the oil metering stuff, nothing is broken, it is yours if you want it. Also have a power antenna from the 88 if anyone wants it. Mast needs to be replaced but otherwise it is fine.

Rob=poolside pimp J/K thats cool hey i wish i could get a job like that, you would never be bored and the scenery would never fade.I gave that cig. lighter to zach when i went over there mon.Ill take all the metering lines. As for the 12oz. bottle i use a little siphon pump for the jet ski to fill up the premix,i buy all that oil in gallons and it makes a major mess trying to fill up,just have to carry around a large ziploc bag and some rags to clean your hands when your done filling it.I forgot where you told me you got your vaccum lines from, was it hose techniques?

i usually get gas at wawa, and theirs an autozone right across the street, so i fill up, go across the street, get a 12oz bottle, stick my extension down in the fill hole to open the flap, and pour it in. im waiting for the day i drop my extension in the tank though

i just got done reading that thread on the PR sleeves? i saw 88vert replied, anyone else see that thread? that guys motor is FUCKED...

sad to say, but i think me and a couple of my friends are going to commonwealth 20 friday to see 2f2f if anyone wants to meet up. i mainly want to see some of the cars out there, i talked to a guy at the mitsu. dealership and he said they will have a evo8 and some other cars up there, and i know alot of the performance shops will be up there to show off their stuff. if anyone wants to meet up, let me know.
