Hey my friend found a flyer on his car the other day that told him to come to this website and go to this section. well he asked me to look on here for him because he doesnt have internet. i figured there would be a picture of his car or something on here about it but i cant seem to find it. hes got an '82 black Rx-7 and hes from Richmond / Chesterfield area. i could take a picture of it and post it on here if ya guys want. i got an '87 myself but it doesnt have any mods on it yet. is there a place on this website where you can post pics?

 

I'm pretty sure they don't have any rips, but I could be mistaken. If you want you can come down and pick them up, and witness the twisties that are around my home yourself. I could probably come to Richmond, but I'm not very good navigating around southside (got lost about 6 times). Tommorow I'll take some pics of the seats so you can see for yourself. Thanks again for showing an interest in them.

 

Beach week 'eh? I was supposed to go down with a bunch of my friends, but at the last second some of them couldn't put the money down for a house... oh well, my money could probably go to better places anyway.

Anyway, I graduated today! Woohoo! I had to give a speech because I am the salutatorian, which wasn't fun. Even though I am sick as hell it sure feels damn good to be done. Off to VA tech I go...

It wasnt me,but glad you found us,come join a couple of us at V.M.P. sat. at the battle of the imports.Well first problem with my car today,OIL pressure,dont know whats going on the oil pressure dropped lower than normal and is staying there,its about 35 when cruising about 65m.p.h. which its normally 60-65 when i let it idle in the driveway it almost dropped to 0 on the stock guage,i changed the oil and it aslo has a new sending unit for the guage when i installed the motor.I think im gonna contact kevin on this one.

 

What time do you guys plan on heading out there?

I'm gonna have to swing by the rents to pick up/install the MBC...then do a lil street tuning on the way.

I've decided the next best thing I can do for myself is pick up the TechEdge WB 2.0....soooo there goes another 400 or so...

... yesterday after it rained, but went to my high school parking lot to prove to my friend i could do reverse 180's.. after i did, i drove around the school, then came back. as i was almost all the way around the school, an older guy yells for me to come over there. i think "****.. im going to get bitched at" hes look at my licence plate.. looking around my car as i pull up. as i stop, he asks me what im driving, i tell him "an rx7".... long story short, he has an 87 t2 hes trying to get rid of. he knew about rotaries, but didnt really know how they work. he said its been sitting in his garage for a little while since it was either his daughter's or grand-daughter's. he was an older guy, he said he cant drive it because it hurts his back to get down in a car so low. i got his number and im going to go look at it this week. he said down the line of owners, the guy said, what he desribed, that it wasnt building boost. he said the gauge would move though. i guess ill see if the turbo builds boost, if he will let me drive it, which im sure he will. im going to see if theres an shaft play and so on. but what other things to look at? i really want to do the 2.3 swap, but i would love to get my hands on a t2 as well, even though i doubt ill buy it, i just want to atleast take a look at it.

 

if its any good and the price is right I just might get it, that is if you don't want it. I know I said I was going to do the silver car, but damn it would be nice to just have to do simple stuff lol.

 

After speaking with a friend of mine, I don't think the gates will be open for spectators until 5:00 so I won't head down their until then.

yep your right i just called and general admission isnt until 5p.m. Im glad you said something david,i was getting ready to leave,they also have the GNCC series at the motox track so i might go catch some of that action before 5.Well hope to see everyone there.

If the gauge on that T2 is moving but it's not building boost, I'd wonder how many miles the cats have on them...

 

VMP was very cool last night. The car run by Reactive Racing is awesome.
Demetrious and his crew were very nice as well.
A few other RX7s out their but I didn't get to meet everyone.
It was nice hanging out with everyone.

 

what did he run? i asked in the thread that said how my hp he pushed the other day, but no one responded.

I think 680rwhp. Almost as much as my car.
He ran a 9.somethin. Fastest car there.
There were alot of pro street guys runnin 14-16 sec times and havin a blast since they did brackets at the end. I think I'm gonna go with a friend this thursday and take a few passes.
