David S: For you, I'll give you a hell of a deal on that rebuild. You pull it, I'll build it. I could probably do it in a weekend or two.

David R: I'm up for a trip to VIR. I won't race for two reasons- 1. I can't afford the entry fee and 2. I can't afford to buy all new brakes again (I have four lugs, not good for road racing heat). I'd love to go and watch you tear up your stuff, maybe I'll be part of your put crew, for the small charge of beer and pizza, of course.

Sean: I'm a Mech. Engr. at VCU.

Michael: Kick *** vid! When we gonna make one for RRR?

Zach- I will probably not be racing. The Mazda event is the last weekend of this month and my car will not be ready. Does anyone want to go?
Hopefully I can make it into the fall event.

something on my car died. It's not the engine luckily, it broke down on broad st. but it was right next to a garage so I was able to get it over there. they think it could be a hydrolic problem, somethign with the clutch master cylinder. Anyhoo, I have no car

The people that work at or attend VCU: what grades are you in, and if you work there, what do you do?

hmmm... I'm still in high school...
Next year I'll either be at VA tech or GA tech.

Someone at my school (Clover Hill High) is driving a blue RX-3 (I think, I haven't seen it up close yet). I think it is a teacher or administrator because it is always parked out front, you can see it from Hull Street if you drive by. Its not every day you see one of those.

Nope not me!

Unless it fell off and I haven't noticed yet.

Sean, I work at VCU as a contractor. I've been around the university for almost 6 years in total...

Uh, you mean your pressure plate is shot I suppose. Go ahead and get an aftermarket clutch and pressure plate.

I33trx7- Good luck with your car. A pressure plate and master cylinder shouldn't be to bad. It just sucks when it happens.
Apparently you haven't been to that side of Hull St.

ok, apparently its something having to do with something between the flywheel to the clutch, I don't pretend to know anything about clutch's and the like. The reason I'm not getting an aftermarket is because I have like no money to work with, I had to borrow money from my parents to pay to get it fixed. Anyway's I'll bring more news...no auto-x for me this weekend, if anyone wants a spot in the third heat, its open, that was mine -_-. I swear if I didn't have to meet a prof tommorow I'd get so wasted.

Aftermarket is cheaper than stock if you put it in yourself. Aftermarket is still cheaper than stock parts...atleast for the turbos...I think the dealership wanted around 550 dollars just for the clutch and PP.

well...as soon as they figure out what the problem is then I'll consider it, but im not sure about it until then. If they have to replace the clutch then maybe I'll get an aftermarket one. Any suggestions on the kind. I don't drag race, and I like the ability to feather a bit so nothing too hard. Also I'm not doing the work, a shop is. Some place on broad st.
