Richmond VA RX-7 Owners
Anybody want to buy that fd that I found? I’m thinking that I’m going to sell it and pay off part of my school loan, and do some more work on my turbo fc.
Good:
Touring
73000 miles
Good compression
Boosts good
Good body.
Mostly stock
Bad:
no 5th gear (no grinding like a bad synkro (sp), just nothing there)
Rear bumper is burnt
Needs some miner body work and paint (there is some plastic in the fender that needs to be ground out and done right, nothing major)
Dash is painted red
Pm or call me if you are interested, I’m not sure how much to ask for it, so I will consider offers.

I had several people ask for better pictures of the damage and of the inside, I will get that up on Sunday (I’m kind of busy this week), but I will say that the inside is good (except for the dash), with no missing pieces. And most people would not see the plastic in the fender if it were not chipped.
I am not considering trades.

when i sold my FD it took about 9 months and I sold it for $9k
and it was in much better shape than yours
so be prepared for ALOT of flakers and lowballers

They'll have to pry my unmolested FD from my cold dead hands... once the engine is back in, of course.

Ambient temperature theory: CONFIRMED
I started up the 90 black FC that I've been having coolant seal issues with.
Nothing, no smoke and no bubbles in the coolant.
So once the ambient air temp is over 70 degrees the issue disappears, which leads me to believe the seal maybe ok but one of the housings maybe warped.
Either way guess I'll be running it for at least half the autocross season.
In other news, I'm in the process of picking up an '01 BMW 325i

Motor now has 7k miles on it built by the guys at rx7store.com in 2005. Tunned by Steve. Running at 11psi with all supporting mods from clutch to fuel to intake, IC, 99spec turbos and exhaust. Body all stock except for a R1 lip. ill get to the details later. Its a 1993 touring with 83k on chassi. Im working on fabricating a better duct for the greddy smic and a smaller battery tray.
my focus willl be on suspension, wheels and maybe another tune at PFsupercars for higher boost.

I got an FD guys =] Trying to finish this car. Thanks for help from Robin, and the support of many people including Alex. Hopefully this will give me more experience in learning about RX-7s.

Hey guys if you are in the area on June 14th feel free to come by the meet at Rockwood park. Its only supras/IS/ and rx-7s. I know there are plenty of rx-7's in the area. I have talked to niburu at starbucks and i have seen skizzles car plenty of times in the VCU area so if you arent going to the MD BBQ i am hoping i can see you at Rockwood Park!

Car #4 being added to my automotive stable
In midst of finalizing the purchass of car #4.
It passed the mechanics inspection, so now i'm just gathering the moniez.
With any luck I'll have it out at the first starbucks meet in May.
Hint: it is not a Mazda.
