Not many of you all are too fond of such, but heres some video footage I found on youtube from the drift event.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WlLyaIWnkI

Pay attention at 1:35 into it and you'll find a pot of gold, or something.

I've been to plenty of drift events, they're definetly fun to watch (especially at VIR)
but I'd rather race my car than drift it.

Does anyone local have a spare s4 TPS that is in tested working condition? My recently rebuilt T2 is having huge hesitation problems due to a way way way out of spec tps. If so just send me a PM and I'll buy it from you!

well the new light harness is in and the relay I got from Icemark has been removed from the old harness and spliced into this one
I have lights!!!!
and apparently a hot starting issue.
I think the starter become missaligned or something when the car is hot.
It sounds like mini machine gun fire, I "think" it's the solenoid in the starter trying to push the starting gear into place, because the starter isn't even spinning

Well i haven't had anymore issues with the starter since I mentioned it (weirdly).
I took the FC out to Stuarts Draft this weekend for Easter at the parents house and did a couple runs on the Blue Ridge Parkway yesterday, the car seems back up to be running fine.
It was friggin cold up there, 6 foot icicles were growing out some of the rock formations and plenty of snow still up on those mountains after saturdays fun storm.

well the FD is finally in the online Autotrader
things to do once it sells
-pay off Citibank card
-have all the crap I've bought for the car installed:
(unless someone wants to volunteer a garage - I can pay in beer)
the GTUs VLSD rear needs to go in and while I'm back there I should put in the Racing Beat rear sway bar I bought over a year ago and I'm very tempted to do the rear steer elimination
I need to replace all my brake rotor - I have all new ones I just haven't put them on yet
and I prolly should get some SS braided brake lines and I know the brake fluid needs to be changed out, maybe some ATE blue
and I need to remount the hoosiers the outside edge are way more worn than the inside - this way they'll last the whole season
Now as what to buy:
new friggin exhaust system - I'm thinking Corksport header with a fully gutted cheapy Catco cat
adjustable camber plates - I really need these bad
tire trailer like them Miata guys

I am also on the hunt for some Mazdaspeed seats

Argh viscous! Thats something you s5 guys got slammed bad with.
I'm going to go with the RB road race header, presilencer, to my trust catback now.
Autornd has some camber plates, cusco I believe for around $250ish.
There is a set of near mint MS seats in the classifieds, 800 for a pair from japan.
DTSS ELIM. <3. Wow, I love them. Absolutely worth the labor if the car will see more than daily driving.

Every single paycheck for the next month is going to bills, proms, and college stuff :/

oh gosh, you're in more debt than anyone I know. The best part is the fact that you keep on digging that hole deeper and deeper.

I fully don't expect to get the $12K asking price, I expect to knock a couple grand off that through negotiations. Really nice TII are for $7k fer chrissakes.
If I can't my selling price I can always just keep and continue to slowly pay off the card and/or sell the Miata.
