Hey guys, if any of you all would like an '88 Jetta GL and/or '84 FB, let me know. The Jetta is basically a beater. The plan is to purchase an FC I found in NC if all goes well. Help a brotha out!

Spotted---

Hey Guys- I was sitting at Curbside cafe this afternoon on Robinson St when I noticed a black FC with gold rims- looked to be a GTU or GXL model drive by. Semi loud exhaust. A few minutes later I see an FD coming with this same black fc right behind him. Both cars looked nice. The fd looked to have an apexi related exhaust on his ride.

Identifiy yourselves!!!!! lol

the black FC with the gold rims is a GTU the guys name is Ryan
the FD is a '95 in Montego Blue his nave is David and I think he has a bunch of Apexi stuff on the car

It's pretty much like buy a car in-state, first you'll need to get the title and bill of sale, take them down to DMV and get your plates. You will also have to insure the vehicle at the same time, then drive to NC put your tags on and drive home.

you gotta go for a ride in the7 pretty damn quick. stomping it in second gear breaks both rear tires loose all through redline

Both are a possible.

I'll have a looksie tonight and give you a call tomorrow or something.

And yes, I definately want a ride on teh beast. Although I have been driving a twin turbo Bimmer for the past week, it does much the same thing and left me with a semi-permanant smile.

Alright whos done this one:
I noticed when putting the street tires back on after yesterdays autoX that the drivers side swaybar mount on the lower control arm is completely sheered off. I'm guessing the runs at VIR stressed it pretty well and it gave up the ghost while sliding around in the rain yesterday.
So who would carry this part?

Isn't on the S5 control arm, the sway bar end link bracket is part of the arm, and not a bolted on bracket? If so, your going to need a whole new lower control arm.

hey niburu, zach pointed out that was you in the black S5 at Acca temple. I have the white T2 parked by the tree. I was gonna run but with the rain I would have been useless. I am still having traction issues in the dry with my azenis. Anyways nice 7. I will be putting my S5 bumpers on this week.

Thanx!! I thought that might have been you.
The Hoosiers were..... interesting out there.

Well I had to goto Whitten Mazda to order the mounting bracket, I ordered 2.
It looks like there was oxidation inside the the metal of the bracket, probably from the day it was made. The post that goes through the control is aluminum and the rest of the bracket is steel - not an easy weld to get right 100% of the time.
