I'm looking for 14in wheels that would fit a 1st gen as well as the dash piece that fits around the shifter, radio, and climate controls. Someone stole the radio and busted that all to he||.

Hey guys, I already stated this, but I need a passenger side front lower control arm for an FB! I've got all my parts but that, and I need it asap. Anyone local that has one would be GREAT. I sent out a few pms, but no returns. If I don't get any responses I'll be heading out to Mitchum Enterprises then. thanks

American Idol from RVA?

Hey Guys-

For all of you who are watching American Idol this year, be sure to vote for Elliott Yamine. He is from RVA and a buddy of mine. Super nice guy.

Later,
Spencer

Is it running yet? I have been meaning to call you to see how things are going. Still working on the shop. Roof is about 1/4 done. I am starting to get motivated again now that it is warming up.

Nah it is still out of the car unfortunately. I have been trying to close on the warehouse that i am attempting to get but one thing after another gets in the way. I am begining to get a little impatient to say the least.

If anyone knows about any *well-running* FBs or FCs in the area, let me know. I've been keeping an eye out for a '84/'85 gsl-se or an early N/A FC. I'd appreciate it.

hey guys, I'm kind of new to the area, I'm going to vcu, and just got my turbo 12a rx-7 up here from Chesapeake. This is the first time it hasnt been sitting in my driveway in pieces since 2001, haha. The car uses a blow-through setup with a OER(weber) dcoe carb, and it's finnicky as hell. I've already flooded it on startup up here, and now it doesnt seem to want to start at all, so its sitting a few blocks away on the street.

Anyways, is there anyone around the area that's very familiar with webers, blowthrough setups, or any of the like? My car just got put together, and i'm still trying to iron out the creases, and it's really giving me a hell of a time. if anyone has some information or assistance, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Jake

Sudox_E - I think there are some flood fixing threads on the web. I'd search on google and try those fixes.

I just bought my 85 12a. Let me know what you think of your turbo setup compared to NA. What did your turbo come off of? I saw an Impulse at the junkyard over the weekend and it got my gears going....

If you think it's flooded, read these tech articles. It worked for me, but it didn't work well with the neighbors. haha smoke filled my yard and street. Just read those steps on how to deflood a 12a, and it should work.

thanks for the help guys. I can deflood the car, but's it's got a bad tendency to flood reallllly easy. freakin carb issues. I'm gonna call up this guy in california on wednesday who specializes in setups similar to mine.

Anyways, I'm using a s4 turbo that's been modified by turbonetics, here's a picture: https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=76048

The car is much quicker over na, but still not THAT fast, not as fast as it should be for everything I've done to it. Like I said, i need to talk to an expert, because I know something isnt right, and it probably has something to do with my carb.

If anyone wants to see my car, I'm gonna try to come to the meetups you guys have once my car runs a little better, and I'm like 5 blocks away from VCU if anyone wants to stop by and check it out

What type of weber is it? do you have different jets for it? I would like to check it out, I live off of franklin about five blocks from VCU, I have some weber experience from VWs but never done a turbo setup.

I have some jets sitting around, not a lot though. I'm over on the corner of lombardy and hanover. I played around with the floats yesterday, and got it running a lot better, but it's got a little ways to go. Drop me a pm, let me know when youre available, and i'll swing by.
