HAHAHAHAH lmao zach. Thx for the pics. I saw the thread on the vmsc forums, and as soon as I saw that pic I figured something of that nature was coming. Nice touch with the license plate lol. Next event wanna ride with me 4th heat and show me how to go faster? I'm car 87 again. I need some instruction. I haven't had any, and I think this is gonna be my...6th or 7th event so far.

Man, that pic is hilarious.

And now it's time to figure out how to make this messageboard look like it doesn't suck now.

Btw, my GC coilovers are 350 fr, 250 rear. Not that it helps you at all in anyway, seeing as we have totally different cars, but I just thought I'd share.

Anyone doing the nasa event next weekend? I suppose I could just look at the entry list, but where's the fun in that?

I can ride and help you out, but you should also walk the course a couple times with me. I usually make all my decisions then so I don't have to waste any track time.

If I have to change tires, around 9:00. Otherwise 10:00.
I don't know if I'll be at the next one since we are going to VIR that weekend.

I had no way to bring them up since my dad was out of town. I usually put them in the trailor.
I think it's NASA. Pops is working his way towards his racing license so he can race SCCA in the future. He has the Camaro/Mustang challenge in mind; basically stock engines in gutted and caged cars.

It better not rain Sunday, the Ghia's wipers work, as in they move, but they sure as hell don't move water off the windshield.

Yeah I agree, I really don't want it to rain. I think it's going to rain till the end of time however.

REXVa7, hi2u. The shop where I used to work, Delta V Motorsports, could probably help you out. Give Jeff a call, 804-355-4440, and tell him what you want. He's owned a million rx-7s, including a couple FD's. Tell him Brian sent ya. Oh yeah, the website is www.deltavmotorsports.com .

My turn to ask about a shop. Anyone know a place that can do mandrel bent SS custom exhausts? I want a 2.5" catback, and no places make em for a reasonable cost for my car. So if anyone knows a shop that can do MANDREL bent SS exhausts, lemme know plzzzzzz. The iON performance turbo back exhaust is $1600+ for my car . Using the hiboost s-pipe, apex downpipe, and custom catback it shold be under 1k.

Yeah no problem REX. What's your name anyway? Hehe. As for meets, we don't all really meet that often. A few of us autocross (me, zach, mike). We've had meets in the past though, maybe it's time for another. I'd love to get a ride in a 3rd gen, I never have before, especially not a modded one.

As for Richmond meets, Richmond Dubs (the vw group) meet wednesdays at 6:30 or 7 (can't remember) near the dairy queen at willow lawn. I think it's the DQ, but I know it's somewhere at willow lawn. Friday night meets are at short pump and people start meeting at like 7:45 or so. At least, this was the last time I checked, could have changed (we got hassled once for being there). The short pump meets have nice cars (rx-8s, evo's, sti's), mainly 4wd turbo cars. Saturday nights people meet at the lot right next to Wendy's off of Midlothian on Southside. I dunno when people start getting there, I've never personally attended one of these meets but I know people who have, and I've driven by them a fair amount. Seems to be a lot of ricers etc at this one.

I've heard rumors of meets at Kroger late at night downtown, not sure which kroger though. Try to double check the times/places if you can if you wanna go to one. I haven't been to any in a month or so so it could have changed. Josepi knows more about the short pump meets than I do probably, so he can chime in.

Yeah, this rain blows. I'll cry if it's raining at the autocross.

Jon, why are you planning on switching to a Haltech ecu? And let me know when you do, depending on my wallet and where my car is at that point, I may ****** it up if you want to get rid of it.Oh, and nice car!

Jon, man your car sounds awesome! I'd love to get a ride in it sometime. I'm glad Jeff could help you out, and I'm sure he's just as excited because he loves FDs.

Awesome, yeah that's cool he's worked on it before. Are you taking it by him anytime soon? Glad to hear it's working out for you, can't wait to see it.

Wow, this thread blew up all the sudden...
Hey Jon, good to see another Richmond guy with a 3G. I might be interested in those wheels for the GTU, but that depends on how the budget goes, so don't count on me at the moment.
