We havent decided yet. Since i live close to teh city i will go and drive around and find the pefect street for our cars and thats easily accessible to teh TUNNEL.

For the people on the NJ side meet us by the Baskin RObin/ Dunken Donut parking lot okay 730-8:00pm cause we know no one ever shows up on TIME

You guys must be insane!!! Gates don't open until 11AM and it only takes one hour from the Holland Tunnel to Rotorfest. If you leave at 8 you will end up sitting on your *** for 2 hours waiting for everyone else to show up, you could have used those extra hours to sleep or clean your car in the morning

i want to push the time up from 7am to a later time but i want everyone to agree im willing to meet at 830am its nice and comfortable so if everyone agrees then its on.

Im cool with the later time. Lord knows i dont feel like getting up at 5 to clean the car get ready and then go into the city.

If you all wanna meet @ like 8-8:30 that would be great.

To all you guys that have been there before i have a set of louvers and a factory mazda fender still in the box if i bring them do you know if i will be able to get rid of them?

I ordered my NY Custom Plates last week my icon is my new plate. I hope to have them on the car by the 10th.

THeres another guy on this forum that RX7up told me to contact i think it was ulost2my7? If anyone knows him find out with him whose gonna meet the NY people coming out the holland tunnel by the NJ side of the holland.

I think the NJ spot (outside the holland) is the baskin robin/dunken donuts parking lot.

I would like to meet up by 8am/830pm on NY side and be at the JErsey side to meet up with the other caravan like 830am/9am then we can leave all together.

We have to assign who we will be following just so that no ones follows a moron a different way when half the caravan goes one way and one goes another. Not saying this will happen i think its pretty straightfoward but u never know what someones thinking and if they are paying attention or just following.

yeah im still trying to get that day free since im scheduled to work that day..hopfully the guy im asking accepts my favor..

if i do go, ill be at the DD parking lot on the jersey side (i forgot how to get there since its coming out of the holland tunnel LOL)

i still feel like we should leave a bit earlier..how long is the ride, like hour+ give or take a couple of minutes for traffic and waitup? if so, we def should meet up a bit earlier IMHO..

This is where we SHould meet. Its a very dead street with two factories with NO TRAFFIC. Its mad long and can put up to like 300 cars there.

We just drive along West Houston Street. At washington street we make a left . Now between houston and Spring street we can meet up there.

To get into the tunnel we just make a left on Spring Street and a Right on Varick street which leads you right into the TUNNEL. I will visit the area and take pictures to show you guys. But that is the BEST LOCATION TO MEET

Washington Street between W Houston and Spring Street.

Traffic i dont think will be that heavy. Its bout an hour and change. and gates open at 11am so we can meet on the NY side at 8am leave at 830am meet ya guys and leave at 9pm so we will get there 30mins or more earlier before the gates open.

FINAL SCHEDULE:

1. NY Meeting on WASHINGTON STREET, between W Houston and Spring Street. From this street we can easily get to the HOLLAND TUNNEL (make a left on spring st and a right on varick). This street has factories and is always dead, and very big to accomodate our cars.

2. Be there at 8:00am Sharp.

3. 8:20am we will be leaving to meet the NJ Caravan at the Basking Robins/Dunken Donuts Parking Lot (if the parking lot is too full park next to the gas station). Here we can get coffee and donuts and supplies for the trip.

4. 8:45am we will be leaving the dunken donut/ gas station area and go to ROTORFEST.

WHo ever is not there on time, will have to catch up (you know thats an excuse to test ure car on the roads). We cant wait for you.....so yo go to sleep extra early the night before, just in case you want to clean your cars , bone ya girl , or just get out the grouchy mood.

I think we should get each others numbers so we can contact eachother just in case someone is behind we can tell them exactly where we are.

Thanks, imjust trying to make sure everything is mapped out nicely and easily readible so on one says it was becuase of faulty information, timiing, or scheduling. I really want to go with a big caravan so i want to try my hardest. And we were debating about a location and no one put up any ideas so i scoped out the area and decided that block is great for a rotary pre-meeting. Nice big and lonely. I will take pics so everyone can see it.

but so far, it doesnt look to good..my coworker goes on vacation that following monday so he wants that that weekend prior to it off also..knowing him and working with him for almost 5 years, i DOUBT he will work that day for me..i mean i hang out with him after work and he's a cool *** dude but sometimes his brain gets shot and he says the dumbest **** or acts like he's not even your friend..i mean i do mad favors for him, on and off work and most of the time he doesnt return the favor..idk, i hope he does this for me..he said he'll let me know after the 4th of july weekend..

ill post my initial decision next tuesday, actually my coworkers decision since he determines whether i go or not technically

Aslo anyone know 1sweet7 i think is the s/n. I met him today at T&R racing breifly. He has a BLUE RX-7 with a Comso RE motor, car is ******* SICK. I told him about the caravan so i think we can add him and his freind with a FD.
