I need some storage at the track...would any of you guys mind if I leave my sub box along with one of the wheels i'm trying to sell in your car while i race.

At this point i'm not even sure if its a good idea to race my car since my turbos are starting to smoke quite a bit. I have a few days to decide.

REMINDER: NY Side 8am....830am we leave to meet up with NJ people.

Leave NJ the latest 9am, so anyone who cant meet up with us at 830am by the holland tunnel, go straight thru the tunnel and catch us by the NJ side.

REMINDER2: New york people, meet up on Washington Street which is located between W. Houston and Spring Street. Look on page 1 and 2 for pictures of the location. Its a empty street that can accomodate our cars with no one bothering us.

From this street u make a left on spring street and on Varick STreet we make a right and it leads you directly into the TUNNEL. This is the best spot so we will see everyone there at 8am so get tehre 15minutes early to wait for everyone until 830am no waiting sorry iight. We cant keep our counterpartrs on NJ waiting.


REMINDER3: You Jerseys guys meet up by gas station and Basking RObins/ Dunken Donuts parking lot or since ya live there anywhere else close to the holland that can accomodate all our sevens. Cause i know people would like to stop and pick up some supplies such as Water, candy, donuts, coffee or hookers. US NY guys will have enuf time to run and get what we need before we set off on our trip.

REMINDER4: We all have to agree on the way in which we are going to go there. There are multiple ways to get there. IM sure everyone got mapquest or Microsoft Streets direction. So lets agree now that we have more than a week. SInce u jersey guys live there, maybe you guys have some suggestions based on traffic and what not or cops routes so if some people want to play we dont have to worry.

NOTE: My engine bay caught on fire today and i will try fevereshly to have my car ready but as of now im driving a FORD ESCAPE. I know i know im sorry but i will still be there leading the Caravan lol iigiht.

NOTE2: I will also be recording so holla at ya boy , and taking pictures.

i know a way to get there without no tolls and minimal harassment from cops..

the only downside is that its about 10-15 min through the city first..but once we get on the highway, its all smooth, no tolls or anything..

let me know if you guys want to do that, maybe i can lead the pack if i go??

most of those roads dont have cops, but the problem is 1/9 and 280 have a hell of a lot of potholes. but no tolls to slow anyone down. we really shouldnt worry much about cops, cuz we should be just cruising the speed limit to accomodate everyone in the caravan.

 

Hey i got some problems.....I know this is the wrong forum but if i dont get it fixed i might not make it on sunday....

as of about 2 days ago i am getting sputtering and starving at anything abobe 4000-5000 rpm's this really makes driving hard.

i was thinking of calling j&r on long island to see if they could get me in. anyone who would like to shoot any ideas please.

So were set Route 1 and 9 to 280 to 80. Yeah we should be cruising i think we will all have a blast with teh cruise.

^^yup that path is really the quickest way with no tolls and hardly no cops..only bad side is the potholes like someone mentioned..

but also like mentioned, it will be good in a way so people dont get that urge to speed and leave others and we can all stay in a pack..as soon as I80 comes, thats when people will fly though, be careful..

 

I think the people that live in the 5 boroughs wont care to much for potholes. We be avoiding ditches man, a few potholes wont hurt us or scare us. I avoid a sinkhole about 4 feet wide and 1.5 across, almost everydays, some are so deep you might not come out it. So NJ potholes are a peace of cake.

I hope i can get my car ready and tested by sunday i dont want to run the risk of getting stuck in NJ. Towing would kill me
