Also, I think Jason has earned at least an honorable mention for his effort setting this up! So far he has been the force driving behind this caravan!!!! Say a '05 Rotorfest T-shirt is in order(or maybe a one of those hookers at dunkin donuts).

yeah jason is da man!!

but if i had to choose, i would get him the hooker, its cheaper..last time i checked, it was 15 bucks a pop..haha

by taking 287, you miss all of rt 80 from patterson to parssipany, which is about 20-25 miles

yo stinky, as soon as you are out of the holland its on the left hand side after all the gas stations. its really small, maybe capable of holding 10 cars. its the only place i can think of we can meet you jersey guys and be out, parking will be a factor if we all show up. so i say **** the common people cuz i will just double park on the road lol. i love my florida plates

ps. i really need a ride for a buddy of mines. can anyone help my bro out. you can either call me or hime, my celly 917-686-9080 chino. or rob 212-679-5659. thanks

yeah that was also my main concern. I was relying on the Jersey guys to find another suitable location for the amount of cars that are coming to meet. I can look around Jersey city i know theres a mall nearby. But the other reason why i went with Dunking Donuts and Baskin Robins as suggested by someone else is becuase its close to Gas , a must for rotaries, and Food rations and beverages a must for HUMANs. parking will be a problem but we dont plan on staying long so **** the cops.

Jersey guys would of already gotten there supplies so its only 15-20 minutes for us NY guys to take a **** and get some food for the trip.

I guess its okay....the jersey guys can steal some cones and close off the left lane for us to park in =)

don't wait for me to join you on the NJ side -- that's about 40 miles EAST of my house! If I'm lucky, I'll catch the caravan as it passes by my exit onto 80W!

Martin -- don't forget that the line to get into Island will probably be really long... even on days when nothing is going on, if you get there AT 11am (or even a little early) you can expect to sit in a line for like 30 mins or more....

good point, im about to go there on my own and be one of the first ones..if theres one thing i hate is traffic and sitting in traffic while its hot outside..i checked the forecast for sunday and its gonna be a high of 88..if we meet in the morning, by the time we get there it will be around 11, its already gonna hit its peak..then like this guy said, there will be a long line, its gonna be hectic..hot weather + waiting in line in a car with no a/c = no fun

i might just roll out by myself..unless you guys want to leave earlier

^^you keep on forgeting to add me to the list..you trying to kick me out the caravan?? lol

but yeah, i dont want to wake up no eariler than i have to, and im sure you guys dont want to neither..but being that i been in this situation before (not rotorfest), it is VERY frustrating sitting and waiting in line on a hot summer day..if you guys dont mind, thats fine, let the times as scheduled but i prefer leaving a bit earlier..

it works out for all of us, it wont be as hot and we MIGHT not have to wait on line..i hear this will be a big turnout, there will be TONS of cars there and us sitting there is not worth it..why not suck it up an extra hour in the morning just so we can get there and be comfortable? i know i would..

what do you say? theres only like 3 days left..

I think it would be great if we could get all the FC's to line up behind each other during the cruise and the same goes for FB and FD, instead of every type of gen mixing together.

Sounds like a great idea. I might not be in the line up if i dont get my car ready this saturday. Its been reallt shiitty the last three days. I heard tomorow should be very nice, and sunday will be much better.

So its pretty much set man, im getting excited and a lil concern cause my cash flows a little low right now. Ill ask my girls for a few bucks, cuase i dont get paid till July 15th, unless i can sell a few more parts off my black 89 GTU..

So does everyone agree on bumping it up about 3o minutes earlier?

I'll be there at 7:30 am. We should start crossing the Tunnel at 8:00 sharp. If we wait any longer than that, we're gonna be in trouble trafficwise.
