How you plan on mounting the REW? gong to drill and tap the irons to accept 2nd gen mounts or make your own crossmemeber

Hopefully Will be getting it going soon and deff going to port it ASAP I just love the sound lol ok I researhed it but want some opinions on apex seals. What is the big diff between the 3mm and 2mm and 2mm 2 piece? I am looking to get around 400whp maybe a little less and want a good summer driver which would be best for that set up?

stay away from oem since if u run high boost and u detonate u will mess up engine/ turbo. i would go with hurleys or atkins as they dont chatter up but i been having bad luck lately with atkins seals. im taking my engine out in the spring because of poor sealing due to apex from atkins going to run some hurleys and see. as far as the rew u will have to do some mods for ur car to accept that motor. custom mt or chage front cover and elminate electronic omp and go with a plate and pre mix.

You have to swap the tail section of a fd tranny onto your fc tranny iirc to use the speedo being the speedo sensor is there for fd's

why use fd gauges anyways? personly id stick with the fc cluster unless you want the fd setup to be different

I really don't know why. I like the looks of the FD cluster i guess but I know it would be a huge pain to wire in. on the tail end of the tranny will that bolt up or will anything need to be modified?

I think you should stick with the first option. I don't think you need that much grip from the 2nd and 3rd tires. Plus, it makes your car look like a dragster.

I have a question for all my fellow rotorheads!? I wanted to know everyones opinion on the Megan racing coils. I want to get some coils but not really wanting to spend lots of cash and no I refuse to buy TEIN i know they are about 3-400 more but really can't stand TEIN. I am just going to run the car as a fun DD with good power and might occasiona;y bring in to the frag to be all the STI guys I know.

I do not know about Megan coils, but why not try a proven competitor:

crack and foreign you both suggest I should got with struts and spring over coils. If you both agree they are good quality then sure I was just wondering because I like to mess with damping and such and the spring/strut setup in only what about 2-300 less then coils (not the best coils) but decent quality ones. idk maybe it is just me if you both are running struts and spring then hell can't be that bad if neither of you have any complaints.

another question has anyone come up with a good quality compay to get a engine rebuild kit from since I remeber boriqua saying not to go with OEM apex seals and he was having probs with atkins seals. Has anyone tried and approves the of hurley seals over the other 2?
