"None of that this year" means no price hikes like last year.

Im trying to see if i can get us a discount on admission that’s why I haven’t posted up the price for the event yet ( I also feel that its a bit expensive). But what they do charge on one of these events is around what treceb is saying. I haven’t posted it up yet because im still negotiating with the general manager.

If $$ will be an issue then lets get cracking on this now so i can review what we have going on and alter it accordingly.

People make requests for having it at a nice track like e-town, I follow that venue and got us reserved parking at a pretty big event. Now with the posts and emails of all the complaints is getting me worried.

College started for me again, that coupled with school, website, and other things I have going on has put a bigger time restraint for me to work on this.

I looked into reserving parking at like Bear Mountain where admission will only be around $6-$8 depending on the state parks current rate, but there is a lot of red tape you have to cross before reserving such a location.

No one took any charge in setting up an event, im trying my best to get us to have a decent gathering, so suggestions would be of better value than complaints.

If you want an event that is technically cheap, only rotary (no other cars) then come to ANY NYRA Meet. We have 50-70 cars at any one of our meets.

So please let me know NOW, so i can use my TIME more efficiently!

Confused Rotor Head,

Jason NYC /CT

jay i didnt mean to say or sound negative about your efforts and hard work so if need be feel free to remove my post(s).

i only posted a price since it seems(at least to me) that people think theyre going to get in there for 10 or 20 dollars with their car. ive been to those events in the past and know how their price structure is. i remember going to what was considered a big event 15 years ago and paying 8 to 10 dollars at the gate just to watch. it would really suck that after you go through all this work and a final price is settled, to have most people complain about it and not show up. cause you know thats what most people around here are good for...
