Hey Jay,

Good luck with your event man, it's going to be hell on you. Trust me I know.

There will be no future Rotorfest. By either Vosko, myself or whoever. Like Gordon M. mentioned, it started out small and should have stayed that way. Quite honestly, and no disrespect to whoever is on this forum now but the whole idea behind Rotorfest was for us to get together, talk cars, share ideas, and share some laughs in the mix. Kids today want loud music, big *** bootys, and have no real love for the rotary like a few people from the old school do. That and only that is what has put an end to Rotorfest.

Seriously Jay, I wish you the best of luck, and I hope it works out smooth for you. Just remember "you can't please everybody".........

Peace,
Jay

Thanks jay. I know this wont be like the classical rotorfest that were in the past. To be honest i enjoyed the RF before where you set them up, they were a lot better, but once you got out of it VOSKO didnt do teh event justice, but we kept going cuz its was nice to chill with your famz and fellow enthusiasts. But the setup last year was a shocker.

I am going to give this event a shot at etown see how it turns out, see what the people say and based on suggestions from EVERYONE i will try to do something similar to the old RF; BBQ meet, hang out, lil car show amongst ourselves.

Have a lot going on with these Mazdaspeed/Mazda Corrals at LimeRock, Watkins Glens and Mid Ohio so its a lot of work for me on top of college, and work.

Like i said i will give it a shot and see how it goes, i know it wont be the same but maybe a lil shake up will be a good way to gage peoples response.

Thanks once again, i will try my best to do good for the community.

EDIT: If people want a nice set up like the classical rotorfest they can come to any NYRA meet its the same principal. The most you would have to pay is the entrance fee that the STATE PARKS set in ny when we hold it at bear mountain or heckshcher state park, or valley stream state park, but Flushing meadows is free. We have an open invitiation for everyone who wishes to attend.

Best Regards,

Jason NYC via CT

Jay don't listen to this fool. I have got to take issue with this. I just got back from Seven not Stock and vosko could take a lesson from how they run their events. We got a group rate on the hotel room, 40 bucks per head for 3 days of catered breakfast, ribs and tenderloin steak dinners, beer, and a t-shirt and there is apparently still money left in the pot going towards next years events and ordering some more shirts. NO ONE at all had a negative word or complaint about the event at all (other then the weather on friday).

Check with dave (N20Dart) on v8rx7forum.com an excellent host to a bad *** event.

Did phinsup seriously grant every swingin' dick some level of moderator status?

I think its funny that Jay tries to blame the community for ruining rotorfest instead of placing the blame where it belongs. Anyone got a picture of that chick from the MARTA bus? Apparently she tried to blame that on the state for not trying to get her help for bi-polar disorder.

^^ If you have so many issues, just stay away from this post. Don't be mad that someone is going to this better and not spring a giant price increase on you and blame the track.
