UPDATES

Contacted Englishtown today to confirm our reservation at this year Summer Slam. The final schedule will be out on Tuesday, February 5th, 2008 this will let us know how Etown is pricing this event, final locations, but as of now I have the info, but want to post it once it’s OFFICIAL.

They have looked at my request for the parking area, which will be located on the left side of the track (left of the Christmas tree). We will be by the scoreboards, where the drag racers pick up there time slips (around option 2 on the map below). Option 3 would of been more secluded but in unavailable to us.

I am currently working on the SIGNAGE for the event, Security, Food vendors, and Portable toilets to be placed closer to our venue so we don’t have to walk a mission lol. We have BBQed at Etown before, but i will ask Etown if that’s okay.

I wanted to clarify some stuff, I think people may have been a bit confused to as how the setup for the event was going to go.

In our parking area, ALL ROTARY's will be parked next to ONLY other Rotary VEHICLES in a giant ROTARY BEES nest lol.

I will be extending the invite to other Mazda vehicles, but will not pursue them as aggresively as i would the rotary community. Just a friendly gesture to Mazda vehicles. If they come they come, if they don’t its okay.

sweet! i cant wait....someone should make a template of a flyer and send it over the internet so i can put them on every rotor and mazda i see....im going to stalker status..... you have been warned...anyone in my area that owns a rotor/mazda....you will go....OR ELSE!!! lol joke

From what I am seeing its no longer just for us rotary guys if we put miatas,protoges and any mazda car they make in the show.
