im also goin with an STi engine because any EJ engine will drop into any engine bay made for an Ej engine... The hardest part will be merging wiring harness. ECS FTW.

so my car runs again.

stick with the legacy. or get a car you won't want to modify. if you get a second car that is modifiable, you will start doing things to it and once you want to modify the fd you will realize that you don't have any money because it all went to the other, slower car

So i was reading up on the new GT-R and in Japan, its the most over engineered thing ever. If you purchase one in Japan, you have to sign a contract saying you wont modify it. And its got black box, like on an airplane which records rpm and speed, and if you go to a track, the sensors onboard will detect it and ask if you want to switch to circuit mode, which switches off the 180km/h limiter, but also voids the warrenty on the car... sounds like a major pain in the *** to me >.> makes me wonder what itll be like stateside...

more reading reveals that if you DO modify the car, the data logger will force the car into shutdown mode... jesus christ... what a pain in the ***....
