i plan on auto crossing my rx7, and when its done the rs turbo capri. what gear do i need? how much does it cost ect ect.

 

i'm coming from RI but we'll see. the 7 isn't running?

 

lol i forgot your in school down there. nope the seven is not running yet.
its been on jack stands for some time. some thing for you peeps who dont know this. but with the 79-80 rx7 it does not have a cat. it has a thermal reactor. i was told that if you remove you air pump you risk setting you car on fire. this week ill be getting my racingbeat header setup so ill be able to fire up the car this week end. then all ill have left is break lines and e-fan and i can put it back on the road.


any ways what do i need to do to get in to auto cross.
what gear do i need ect.

 

ill try to make it up there christian but i kinda doubt it. no gas money.

 

I have my first mountain bike race sunday, so i wont be there.

just got back from the track. Andrew and i were the only two 7's there. It was a good night. did some more tuning on my car. added a bit more fuel. My best time was a 14.35 at 99.1mph.

My run is in my sig. You guys know how bad my second gear is. Anybody got an S5 Turbo Tranny? Also, my front calipers are stuck closed, you can hear them rub as I drive.

Other than that, all night I had near perfect reaction times (nothing more than .200, lots of .010s and .090s) perfect launches, and perfect 2->3s and 3->4s.

It seems like instead of modifying my car I have to cover the loose ends of the stock parts. My next missions are to fix the calipers, rebuild tranny, and get a wideband and tune this car to a psi it belongs at.

 

So much for a daily.
