Dave, the 7 is doing good. You should totally look into another. maybe an S5 NA. not as much maintenance and good reliability with good performance.

 

even better performance is a S5 turbo eingine with turbo removed. I know I guy who has done this ans making 190hp at the wheels.

 

why would he take the turbo off?? you would get way more performance with a turbo than NA. duh mike

 

to make it more relibal. and to get a smoother power curve. and to make it more sumplistc

Well ive wanted to autox, and maby rallyx (the subie) so i sent out for the info packet from the scca, liked what i read and joined (glad i sent out for the packet, i got a discount of $20)

So i really want to autox and go to some track days in the rx7 in the spring, however i joined now mainly so i can find some rallyx's and take the subie out this winter

Aside from the scca and ner website, are there other sites that have information on upcomming local events?

 

theres a TSD rally next week in Vermont that i am doing. its pretty straight forward and simple, but its a great way to get into rally. there's also a rally cross in the same area sunday.

look into Vermont Covered Bridge Rally on the NER site. maybe ill see you there.

 

The subie unforunatly has ebay drop springs from the previous owner, i should replace them with either stockers or something thats not junk before i try anything

Are you going to the autox? Im gona try to go to that just to get a feel for everything, maby sign up and chase cones if they need the help

 

i am just doing the TSD, not the rally-cross. ive gotta help get the rally car ready for a stage rally in New York in November that sunday.

you should definitely go check the rally-x out. i havent rallycrossed my legacy yet, but im hoping to do some this winter. im hoping it will be cold enough to do some ice rallies. thats what im really looking forward to. nice set of blizzaks + wide open ice + all wheel drive = guaranteed awesome time for sure.

yeah, there are plenty. scca does a lot as does PFCC in Connecticut. (i think that is how you spell it)

 

If my car is out of storage when the meet occurs, I will be there!
