Hey. I raced at F1 Boston in there Junior leagues for 2 years. Don't waste your time there. the karts are un even, and they over charge. Racing America off of Route 1 in Foxboro is a much better choice. they have a great parkinglot for meeting/screwing around in too. I have a few videos of my 10th AE in the parking lot there on www.streetfire.net My car is an 88 10th AE with tons of upgrades. Looking to meet up with some more 7's. Check it out and let me know what you guys think.

Well, as far as premature planning goes: To maximize attendance, we'll be going to F1 in May.

First Sunday of the month again? And can someone check what the minimum age is to drive and what forms need to be signed as a minor.

How about an interest gauge in Seekonk Grand Prix? I work down the street from there, so everyone else can drive 50 miles while I get the short trip.

You can't race at F1 Boston as a junior (under 18) unless you get your racing lisence. which costs about $300, and even still, you can't drive with adults, or just come in off the street to drive. you can only drive it the racing season events. F1 Boston sucks. The owner, RJ Valentine needs to rethink his plans with that place. as i said, i raced there for two years, and took home a few championship trophies. Me and my group were a few of the best drivers they have seen there. A few of my friends still hold the track records there, and they are younger than me. i am 17. Trust me when i tell you. DON'T GO TO F1 BOSTON. Check out Racing America. it is cheaper, easier to deal with, and you can race right away as a minor. My track coach runs the programs there. his name is Yury. he has a sick S14. We have a large group of juniors there, all ready to smoke some tail...lol....just let me know if you want to take up the challenge. i will bring my FC, and i am sure my groups Z's will come too. If you come there, you may see our GT40, and other high-end cars. Racing America is the place to go. There is an autox at Fort Devens on 4/29 as well. That would be a great time.

AHEM! I meant to say RA, not F1, sorry, Slo.

So, to repeat: Can someone check what the minimum age is to drive AT RA and what forms need to be signed as a minor.

A car that will pass a basic safety inspection (wheels on tight, battery tied down, brakes work, throttle calbe not sticking) and ~$40 for non-members.

The 29th is a non-points event, so it would be good to get your feet wet without having to worry about the season.

Show up at around 7AM, and don't plan to leave until around 5-6ish. It helps when you can bring a lunch and all that.

We're hopefully going to have the AE ready in time. Tranny rebuild next week at ESP. Just picked up a 20' Featherlite enclosed trailer that will be the Slo Motorsports car transport. Not sure if we can make NHIS on the 23rd, too soon!

On the RA meet, just call them and ask. www.racingamerica.com

The AE goes in to ESP on Monday so we'll let you know how it goes. Supposedly, they have a Mazda tech there.

MattB's Jspec just blew up so he is thinking of parting out his T2. PM him if you're looking for stuff. We have first dibs though.

^^im not 100% sure but i think that the only difference if there is any is the ports. but even then i doubt it.if mattb's engine "blew up" then at most only half of it is reusable.

My plans for April 29th are to go to the SCCA Event at Ft. Devens and then head over to the Bayside Expo for Hot Import Nights. Anyone else doing either? Im just gonna watch the event unfortunatly, but its really not that far from me, so its worth checkin out.

how about we move the meet to RA on May 7th, so we dont have to pay for the membership. The address is 208 north street, Foxboro, Ma. the prices are $20 for first race, $20 for second race, and $10 per race thereafter.

heres a link for the track:
http://www.racingamerica.com/home/about_tracks.html

Name a time, ill be there.

Anyone goining to the autox tomorrow?

I'm still trying to decide... I don't want to bring the Rx7 out in the rain... and I'm not sure I'd want to autocross it. That said, I do want to see what it's all about... (though I know I'd really want to get out there and drive if I came).

On another note, I fixed the turbo problem I've been having... it was just an old hose - car runs a lot better now. I'm thinking of listing it... anyone want a 1993 rx7 with just under 19k original miles?

depends on the weather.. im only going to watch, so if the weather is bad.. im deff not going

when your at HIN, if you see this car, dont judge it just by the vinal, theres alot done to that car. i was heavly involved in turbo'ing and the emange installation among many other things

Thought it was a supra for a second, and had to do a double take. Not a big 3rd gen eclipse fan.

nor am i really, however after seeing how much time and effort he puts into the car, i cannot bash it. He WILL drive that thing to work during the summer, and still keeps it spotless. Im suppoto install a zex nitrous kit into it today.. hopfully he doesnst spray to much, the poor motor is still on stock pistons running 8lbs though the td04
