Personal business? That's a laugh! So personal that you won't even tell your roommate why you're being such a stiff. He's absolutely clueless why you won't pay him the money. If it's about your car being busted, well you can take the T to work, so rent would come before buying car parts.

One good personal reason for not paying your rent might be if you had AIDS and all your money was going to your medications... but who knows what your Dave logic is. Sort of like when your roomie asked you to wash your dirty dishes (as they completely filled the kitchen sink, and btw they're his dishes) and you only answered that you didn't get a real seat in the living room when all the guys were over the previous night. Well other people sat on the floor too. And if it bothered you at the time, then you should have said something then to the guys. And none of the furniture belongs to you...

You can PM me if you want to, but just pay the rent already and then pay June's rent on time. Does Herb Chambers not pay you enough as a tech? If not, then get a second job. And stop inviting yourself to F1 on Wednesday nights until you catch up on your share of the bills.

That parking is not yours to take. If your seven gets towed, it will only be your fault. At least offer the landlord some rent for it, but even if the apartment isn't rented, it's not for you to take. You've been told to park your car by the fence.

 

This is a last resort effort. My bf was over at their place earlier in the evening helping his roommate (our friend) evaluate the busted engine in his Integra. Dave still has given his roommate no reason at all, for not coming up with the rent. There hasn't even been an offer for paying it off by the week. It's now the 19th with the end of the month in sight. So what happens June 1st? His roommate spend a ton of money that he doesn't have on getting his car back from the Poconos track this week. He can't afford a deadbeat roommate like Dave.

I am just having to show you all the real Dave... the guy that talks big about whether or not to Bridgeport his engine or buy an Evo instead. Hah! It's apparently all talk and no substance. You'd rather the made up internet Dave instead? Fine. I'm out. Again, once you've made good on the rent I'll delete my posts. But at this point, as far as his roommate's friends and I are concerned, Dave is on the same level as a scammer in the classifieds threads. He's taking without paying for it... and causing my friend severe financial distress. So I'm hoping that you will man up and settle your debts soon. That is all I want.

 

I fail to see how public humiliation will help him settle his debts. This is a private matter. He would be on the same level as a scammer if he posed a threat to any of us. He doesn't rent from any of us, so we don't have to worry about Dave and his finances effecting our online community in any way. PM him if you have a personal problem with him, don't post it in a thread.

Woah, what's going on with this thread? Hey, David and I gave up on the AE the night before the NHIS event. We managed to get the new tires and rims mounted but lost the battle working on the oil cooler hoses. We still have to get the top one swapped out. Our next event will be the Tire Rack Solo National at Devens, June 10/11. We're already registered and I hear that there are only 20 or so spots left. Any of you guys going?

Matt and I saw a red FD at the WBM today. We saw it driving up the main parking lot area.

 

i saw about 15 subies at solomn pond mall this moring on my way to work. it was pretty cool. shawn, i checked on ner and they didnt have a link for registration that day. i am assuming it filled up.
