thats because i just started this project i made a thread for it on the 3rd gen section....

it might be done for the meet..... im not gonna rush it though cause i want it to be perfect..... i still have to build the pc.....parts are on the way...installing everything is going to be time consuming....


if any buddy else in intrested in doing a car pc im down to help..

Izzy, what is the price tag on the whole setup? is it like building a home PC? have you ever built a comp before?

 

my estimate came out to be 900 buck with really good parts... and free labor since im doimg the work. its like the same just smaller parts

you dont have to have a key board since its touch screen...some people mout the key board on their visor.....( flip the visor down and theres your key board)

 

now that is cool. so it is capable of tuning and everything. does it support wireless internet? I'm reallly interested in this lol. i remember seeing one in Modified like 2 years ago in an RSX but i figured it cost an arm and a leg.

i would assume so, via serial cable/whatever your computer uses.

OK so serious question for everyone, what would be cooler, a stockish FD or 400 hp FC?

 

yep perminantly attached, the cp board im still trying to figure out were to mount it.

 

Im doin a full car PC but its gonna be in my DD for storm chasing out in the midwest. gotta have up to date info when your doing that.

my FD is purely speed and power so no real audio, no ugly body kits, no huge wings, hell stick with stock wheels.

Stock FD's never stay stock for long Christian :P

yeah, i'd say fast fc. Less pretty and way more fun, thats my plan too kinda, except around 300 hp, not 400.

 

i just have such a hard time making up my mind, i definitely think i could be around 400 this summer. i just need to make some money off of all the parts im selling, piece a turbo kit together and get a computer. I'm actually contemplating selling my wheels and getting a cheaper set.. i really don't want to though unless i absolutely have to.

iam confused as how to install them. i know the alt is a simple bolt on job. but the water pump and e-shaft look like the bolt on over the stock ones.
