Update: New brake rotors and pads. Funky noises etc are all gone.
Turbo oil feed line ruptured oil sprayed everywhere and caught fire it was amazingly terrible. My turbo took like 3 hours to clean off but everything is okay and I need a new line.
I outran 2 staties in my car in my neighborhood. -1 to driving like an *** where I live +1000 for not getting arrested.

I have a FC tranny that needs rebuilding. I threw one a way a couple of years ago, I would hate to put this in the dumpster as well.

This one will cost a minimal fee. I have a good POSI rearend. I bought it several years ago and never needed it. $75

The tranny is out of a S4. 5 Speed. It originially came out of an 88 GXL and ended up in my 89 GTU. Its not all that bad except it does not like to stay in 5th and the synchros are starting to go.

 

DONT tape the shifter into 5th when driving it xD itll eventually just destory itself xD

Tranny gone. Found out the rear end is a regular N/A rear end, so the price is reduced...... FREE.

firewall needs to be converted, all these little things need to be welded on to help support the dash, then the steering rack needs to be swapped out, dash needs to be wired together, door switches need to be wired together, then then i need to buy the door panels and center console. Then i have to actually get the engine back into the car, make sure somehow that the downpipe will clear the steering rack, and then once thats all done? it has to go for a FULL reinspection at the DMV to clear it for a composite car title.

so maybe... 1000 more bucks and maybe 3 or 4 months of work?

yeah not so much... im tired of waiting, im putting it back together in the next couple weeks.

if i really want RHD, i have a buddy down south that works as a Registered Importer, he'll get me a Skyline or something if i want. itll be easier, and cheaper.

 

how much for a skyline? gen stop being a *****. who cares if you dont have a full rhd car. just leave the doors stock then when you have money rewire them.
gen ill come down there tack the fire wall on and cut all the new holes and patch the other ones. be a man and get rid of the junk you dont need ac, power steering ect ect.

Depends on the skyline to be honest, i could pick up a GTS-25 Type S for about... 5000? not including shipping from Japan plus registering it down south and then transfering the title up north, and thats assuming the title CAN be transfered.

eitherway, its too much work Ben, all there is to it, i want my FD back on the road... Itll be a large single turbo, either custom Vmount or FMIC full exhaust, itll be an awesome car. and i wont have to wait for the next two years for it to be done.
