Depends on if you have good stuff, the time, and the patience... obviously I didn't have two out of the three, so I sold mine as a whole.... worked out pretty well, but I still sorta regret it... >_<

almost all my stuff is intact or 98% intact or replaced. all i had to do was 3 more things and the car would have been done. =/. 1. figure out how to replace/fix the defroster vents, 2. readjust the passengerside window track and 3. custom fix the driver side seat brackets.

i could probably sell my wheels to pay for the damage.

Yes, usually two (A main cat and a pre cat). Some had three (two pre-cats and a main cat). The GXL I drive has three.

I am wondering if it is worthwhile to get an old VW to fix up I love those TDIs.

Yay for those potato turbochargers

I have no desire to ever own a 2.0L VW. Those things are absalute garbage

Christian, Mike and I went to go check out the new Mazda 3. That thing dominates its price class. It's awesome. 160HP with room and some cash to spare.

I remember the Acura.. but the body kit that BigPimpin gave me.. seems like you have to do some cutting of the front and rear bumpers... i think... but besides that its more paste on stuff.. and the kit is to much to drive it over there.. unless i can keep it there like ya bumber and lip is..

If I have anything you'd need, i'll give it to you cheap.

yes, it is worthwhile, even if you don't buy a tdi version.

dude, a well built/balanced 2.0 is not garbage at all.. good power all the way up to redline with a good bit of nice torque curve tossed in from almost idle to redline.
my jetta could pull 5th gear from 30mph to 120mph without breaking a sweat (granted it was mostly the gearing, but whatever)
