Nah it's cool. My pipe dream is to build somesort of hotrod before I die. Definitely not going to 100% original and all that stuff. But definitely something for the kids to look at. Maybe a kit cobra ... but i don't like the no roof thing.

I'm not used to sucky futura 6" lame-o tires. At least i did all the correct driving evasive procedures ...

Dirt Drop Drift- this is performed by dropping the rear tires off the road into the dirt to maintain or gain drift angle if losing power. (note: this technique is very useful for low horsepower cars, also good show move to produce a dirt rooster tail)

Choku Dori- this is done by pulling the E-brake through a strait to start a high angle drift and to hold this angle to set up for the turn ahead. (note: this can only be done at high speed)

no idea. you're going to have to stop by the shop. i know he likes to take a look at the pieces before giving a quote. if the bodykit is stupid hard or will require a lot of work, then obviously it'll cost more.

there was a black integra in there and whoever made that kit .. it was ***. probably a copy of a knockoff it was that bad.

And I might need some help putting a new clutch in my buddy's new 7 sometime in the next couple months. Don't really need the help, more like wanting the company of the fellow rotary geeks.

*PS- I converted another person to the love of the rx7 today. I get a gold star!!!!
Because of school, I've put most of my rotary work on hold. However, I might be able to just stick around (while doing homework) and give pointers, should you so desire :-p

Not first time visinting, but first time posting... I lurked since "I haven't lost anyone, so I can sleep at night."... Or something like that...

This thread moves fast as hell.

I dunno whether I should get outside more often, or y'all should

Yeah, it'll probably be a good idea to expand your post views when you visit here... it's been recorded for people to be behind as much as 5 pages within 24 hours on a good day...

my friend built a super7 kit car. really nice instructions. color, hole punched so you could put it in a binder and a complete list of alternate parts to use in case you can't get something. The "engines that will fit" list was probably 2 pages long single spaced. i think he ended up putting an integra engine in it.

he brought it to summit point twice and also did autoX @ fedex. he ended up selling it for about 17k to some guy in florida. i believe he spent 25k to build it.

my other friend was making fun of the car because the fuel line from the back to the front is a clear plastic tube that runs along the driver side left leg. he was like - there's no way in hell that i'm sitting that close to the "death juice"

You haven't seen "death juice" until you've played with the stuff I clean ovens with. It'll eat the metal off of metal
