I remember them putting a 'going out of business' sign. It's now a psychic reader place now right? I'll double check though.

Isn't everyone trying to date a forum member? Or perhaps it's cause I hang out in the lounge too much.

hey tofo

Hey Tofuball (aka Jason)
You think that your shop would be capable of helping me with mounting a new from subframe for my right hand converstion. o_0

And I might need some help putting a new clutch in my buddy's new 7 sometime in the next couple months. Don't really need the help, more like wanting the company of the fellow rotary geeks.

*PS- I converted another person to the love of the rx7 today. I get a gold star!!!!

shop = full service area with lots of tools and all the expertise plus the room and time to work on it

garage = attached to house with little time and no real room to work on it.

If I knew anything about them besides the fact that it would take an act of god to fit one in an FD, I might consider it. There is, however, the problem of needing a turbo to keep them from being a lump of underpower ****. If I was going to turbo anything, it would be a Buick V6. And it would be one I swiped from Bill Anderson that runs 7's in the 1/4 at 170+ mph

Me too but I had the FD before I had the LS1. I love the FC but the FD feels more like a sports car to me. If time, space and money weren't a concern, I'd have both.

You're just jealous because the V8 car didn't run into a guard rail

How you judge that sort of thing on time bewilders me. Looked like some sort of freestyle event where no two drivers would do the same thing.

On the other hand, a little car like that would be bad *** to drive around a small town and wreak havoc with. I'd be aiming for the pedestrians in the town I grew up in.

a nice 2JZ can put out up to 1500+ HP depending how you set them up. they CAN be forced to fit in abt yer talking extreme custom works. 2JZ is same size as my 7M and i know that a 7M can fit in an RX-7

Sure, but there's lots of 800hp 13 second Supras running around

I wonder how much hp it takes to run 7.25 @ 188 mph

I thought there were Supras in the 7's already? 9's is fast as **** - compared to my car. 7's are fast as **** - compared to almost any car

I guess my thoughts on it come from having shoved a V8 where it wasn't supposed to go. It's hard enough to get a V6 or V8 in there, and the power potential is just as great for either of those. Why make it that much harder on yourself by unsing a package that is "architectually challenging" ?
