If I knew anything about them besides the fact that it would take an act of god to fit one in an FD, I might consider it. There is, however, the problem of needing a turbo to keep them from being a lump of underpower ****. If I was going to turbo anything, it would be a Buick V6. And it would be one I swiped from Bill Anderson that runs 7's in the 1/4 at 170+ mph


Me too but I had the FD before I had the LS1. I love the FC but the FD feels more like a sports car to me. If time, space and money weren't a concern, I'd have both.

How you judge that sort of thing on time bewilders me. Looked like some sort of freestyle event where no two drivers would do the same thing.

On the other hand, a little car like that would be bad *** to drive around a small town and wreak havoc with. I'd be aiming for the pedestrians in the town I grew up in.

 

a nice 2JZ can put out up to 1500+ HP depending how you set them up. they CAN be forced to fit in abt yer talking extreme custom works. 2JZ is same size as my 7M and i know that a 7M can fit in an RX-7

fastest supra is a 9 second single turbo that has never lost any race in its class

 

I thought there were Supras in the 7's already? 9's is fast as **** - compared to my car. 7's are fast as **** - compared to almost any car

I guess my thoughts on it come from having shoved a V8 where it wasn't supposed to go. It's hard enough to get a V6 or V8 in there, and the power potential is just as great for either of those. Why make it that much harder on yourself by unsing a package that is "architectually challenging" ?
